an informant was not used in the Flynn case. He got caught lying to the FBI.
I am sure you already knew that though.

Contreras told the former Army general that prosecutors will request less punishment than sentencing guidelines recommend “if and only if” he provides substantial assistance “in the prosecution of another person.”

Is that so?
Has the informant been used in the case yet? Because usually in that situation it's easier for the lawyers to interview the informant outside of jail.
But you probably knew that.
Do you think his sentencing may be based on his cooperation?
www.washingtonexaminer.com...
There is no sentencing date yet in Flynn’s case. The judge said Flynn must check in once a week and would not be held in custody ahead of sentencing. He scheduled a status hearing for February 1.

edit on 31-1-2018 by luthier because: (no reason given)
Since he already plead guilty and was awaiting sentencing your still way off. If you read the op info the sentencing hearing was stopped at Mueller's request.

There's no excuse for not electronically recording FBI interviews, in this day and age. I think nearly everyone expects them to and most people are very surprised to learn the FBI has a policy against it.
It is shocking they are still so backwards. There must be a good (bad) reason for this.
I would hope as the DOJ is investigating McCabe, they look into these allegations.
They claim it interferes with their interview methods and building a rapport with the interviewee.
It's a bad reason. One that I don't buy, at all.

You are like a ferret on crack...
pick a position and stick with it. Constantly bouncing from one to the next when you get called out is getting annoying.
You do understand if Flynn's case is suspect because of the FISA his plea will be thrown out / refused. You are also assuming he became a "source" for Mueller. Something thats never been verified. Just wishful thinking by the left.

He did... Read the document provided. The hearing tomorrow deals with his sentencing. It has been stopped by Mueller.

Given the FBI agent behind Flynn's investigation is Strzok... Given McCabe is gone due to having FBI agents change 302's after the fact...
