Ha Ha.....Another Aussie Comedy show from the 80s...
Joe Dolce on Aussie music show Countdown....
Shannon Noel doing a cover of the Moving Pictures 1982 hit "What about me", which was about poor/deprived people, kids etc......tho they use to play
it so often, we all became sick of hearing it at the time.
Secretly, you guys love all things Aussie, donne cha!!
Should come down for a holiday.....its gonna be 42C here where I am today.
Im sure this song will annoy everyone.......it was a "Hit" in the UK........
You peaked my curiosity with this thread. So went to google and found this. My mistake is I watched it. I am now looking for the ice pick to take out
my eyes and come Monday morning I am making an appointment to have a much needed lobotomy.
My husband likes to annoy me by surprise-blasting this one on nice spring/summer days when I'm lounging outside in our hammock. Totally RUINS the
atmosphere
So offensive in fact that I had to go look this person up to see if they were even human. Turns out she is, and some of her other "music' is equally
awful, errr, putrid!!
And you know what the damned shame of it is? The guy can actually SING! But no, he has to do this kind of crap, because it SELLS. ANY fool can
sound decent with autotune. Therefore, it sucks. DISrespect.
I'm also not a fan of the overuse of the n-word. Once in a while in a tune for emphasis, okay. You're being edgy. Every other sentence is just
gratuitous, ........ again, for the MONEY.
Funnily enough, I went in search of the worst song ever last month. I found this gem, annoying as hell, but the video cracks me up, especially the
choreography part way through the chorus.
Its 1987, you are old enough to finally go to the mall and hang out with your friend..suddenly, overnight a super mega pop star out of nowhere makes a
remake of a song
Sure, its catchy..cute little jingle by a hot teen you wanna be with, but its a bit cutesy...still, not bad.
You hear it once, twice, a few times...yeah...its easy to learn, she is still cute as pie. its on the radio, people are doing improvs in malls singing
her song...then you hear it a dozen to two dozen times...then more. if you turn on the radio its that song, go into a dept store trying to attract
youth and its that song..you cant escape it.....there is no spotify or pandora, tapes are expensive..eventually you are gonna turn on the radio in the
late 80s...and when you do....I think we're alone now...endlessly..only to be occasionally broken up by Debbie Gibson.
The struggle is real....we were never alone....we were haunted by you Tiffany...no matter how fast we ran!
