Sheye, you know you can't escape the Shed. Even when people leave they feel compelled to return home. I am looking forward to the continuation of your story!

Dearest Night..I can escape anything I put my mind to... even bad relationships ( have a few of those in my history 😏)

I can’t honestly say the Shed feels like home, but it certainly is a nice little vacation getaway from time to time. It is where I intermingle the most here on ATS, and I have grown fond of the members that share in here.

I lurk very often here my friend in order to check out how my little bunnies are doing...

I remember back in the 80s doing various theatres dressed up as Riff Raff in North Yorkshire.

We did the whole role playing thingummyjig back in the olden days...

Here is one of my faves :

This is when I fell in love with Janet (SLUT...)

I know a great many people who are in the same boat as your good self!

Friends of mine who live a couple of miles away, are decidedly against this sort of weather. They cannot understand how I can just walk to their place, from mine, in a fat blizzard, and arrive smiling

Stumbles toward the coffee pot.

Mumbles Hello to everyone, throws donuts and steaks out the window for the lurkers and plops down in a comfy chair by the fireplace.

Nice to see Lags pop in today and True and Blue and Chels!

Not a fan of the Rocky Horror Picture show myself, but I'm sure there are plenty of things I like that others might not.
Rainy and windy out there today and I am still half asleep and in pain. Gah! I'll be popping in and out of here if I don't fall back asleep.

I wish I wasn’t so opposed to cold weather. I spent too many years in warm Florida- I think it ruined me!

Tricky stuff.

Weather went from west-to-east right back to east-to-west overnight.

It's a pretty weird weather pattern you're having!

You're right on the edge of it though:

If only it could just stop coming back South it'd be great...

It's a mess in some areas with thousands of power outages, accident of a big truck that overturned on a bridge, flood rescues, all here in the Northeast. My area has heavy rain and wind so far, but we are safe.

Hello gang,

I left yesterday morning to come to New Hampshire and visit my friend and his fiance, it was poor timing considering my previous posts but I rarely get to visit with him anymore and I seized the opportunity.

I haven't decided if I'm going to head back to vermont Sunday night or Monday, but I felt like I needed to explain not posting after I explicitly said I would..I am one of those old fashioned types who doesn't use social media when I'm visiting in the real world.anyhow he's getting out of the shower so I'm going to log out..

Have a great weekend my cyber family , stay safe and have fun!

My weekend mood music;

Blue you have mail.

Respectfully,
~ meathead

I know you were speaking to True, but I'll add my two cents anyway. lol

So many people from around these parts have moved to Florida and enjoy the hot weather, some have returned back to New England. I would find it stifling. I always enjoy the beginning of Summer where it is quite warm yet beautiful, but once we get that high heat and humidity, I melt and get cranky if I'm not where it's air conditioned or there is a pool, lake or ocean nearby.

By the end of Summer, there is nothing better than the gorgeous colors of Autumn leaves, cool winds and Autumn festivals, cozy sweaters and nice boots. Part of Winter can be lovely with brisk air, new fallen sparkly snow, soft blankets and hot chocolate, but then it is too long, grey, cold and dreary. Spring can be awesome with budding trees and flowers, green grass, warmer air, song birds...ah, I can't wait.

I just can't imagine not having the changing Seasons like we have here. I mean Christmas in Florida with palm trees? That always makes me chuckle.
