Hey, I'm trying to lose my winter extra 5 and get down to beach weight..

Can you link the song for motivation!

I'm kidding ..It sounds more like my theme song than an inspirational montage training song...
Also there's no nice beaches up here..

Also it's an extra winter 25..

What about McCrorie or Hamilton?

Did the event also have a traditional egg hunt?? Man that would have been a blast!

You are right bout the gift/legacy of your time - so many parents these last few decades haven't been able to. Whether it's because they are overworked, too stressed, have own mental stuff going on or simply don't care.

Last night, I decided to treat myself to a nice hot fizzy bath with a bath bomb from Lush I got at christmas. Then my son came in, and decided it was the best time to show me all his weird pokemon dance moves, then both my cats decided they too would come into the bathroom, but to mostly brawl with one another.

So much for long hot peaceful soak!

But - I didn't shoo my boy out - When he wants to be social I can't afford at this stage to turn him down. Time is precious too, and he's getting too big too fast!

Edit: I have never heard of someone using Port as their go to drink for camping

I don't have McCrorie or Hamilton relatives I'm afraid.
Mine are all Smith, Brown, Orr...

There WAS an egg Hunt! Of course!! But.... In The woods!!!

On the subject of parental time... I chucked my career in IT project management to be a stay-at-home dad for our first born. Chrissie was doing well and enjoying her career, but I wasn't enjoying mine and my health was suffering - so it made sense for me to do the parent thing and for Chrissie to return to work. Best thing I ever did I reckon!

You need to plan your "me time" better!!! boys & cats???? LOL nooooooooooooooo!!!
LOCK the door! hehe

the house I live in is quite old, and conveniently the only two doors that don't close properly are the bathroom and my bedroom. They are easily pushed open by certain creatures that would like their presence known. Or when one decides they simply must go out of their way to perch on your shoulder while you are sitting on the bog.

I really should have had my bath an hour and a half later when all three were fast asleep.

AND NOW!

Now to catch up on the last of that show I've taken to, El Ministerio del Tiempo (Ministry of Time) after I make a late lunch of scrambled eggs on toast with ham because we ate all the bacon yesterday
and a cuppa tea to wash it down!

Well, the time has come. (3.42am)
(With the aid of the Guinness & Port...)
There is no need for a nice Whisky tonight! LOL So that's more left for later!!

I shall bid you goodnight.

Thank you, Joe and Aurora!

I'll see you on the flip-side.

They stole an hour from us. In NL at least the clocks went forward tonight. I'll just ignore the time for a day. On a Sunday too.

Yep, they really got me off-guard this time. So first i wake up, check my cell phone clock, 4 o'clock sharp. "Ok i will rest for a tiny while and then make coffee" i got my coffee, came to my laptop and noticed time, 5:20. "Ok so i slept and i didn't know it"

Then i really started to question myself and checked daylight savings stuff and "Ok, i didn't sleep after 4 anymore"

My laptop moves it's own clock. My cell phone is not a smartphone, and never will be (unless at some point, all phones are smartphones) so about all it can do is phone and text, but the battery lasts 10 days - 2 weeks, depending on usage.

Continued from page 129

Night took a step and tried to steady herself after the pixies drinks. Pesky raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure you can do this? Face all those people? I mean, you had pixie drinks and you know how they affect you. You might screw everything up. Don't You have any Elven spells to sober you up a bit? Do you..." The Elven Warrior held her hand up. "Stop! just stop Pesky! I have enough to deal with without your rapid fire of comments and questions." Pesky rolled her eyes. "Alrighty then, let's face the overflowing hall of frantic people in your condition. Yep, let's do that." Night gave 'the look' and the pixie shut up.

Before she took another step, she heard the voice of Hugo telepathically. "Night, Wolf and I have been to the dragon keep and there was no sign of Syx, but we found Storm and he will be leading the other dragons in battle until Syx shows up. We have also searched for Rider and his Sister dragons, but they too are nowhere to be found. I'm sure they have heard the rumors of war of maybe had an encounter with the dark beings, I don't know."

Night sighed deeply and connected with her companions in her mind. "Hugo, find your brethren and ready them for war. Wolf, find Shadow and follow his lead. Storm, you must lead the other dragons, I have complete faith in you, in all of you and I...she held back the tears. I love you all, always have and always will."

She stepped into the dimly lit spaces that led to the great hall, took a deep breath and entered the room. The Elf was met with a cacophony of voices. When they noticed her, their voices rose even higher. It was maddening. She loved these people, wanted their sacred peaceful space in the realm protected and safe.

Sunlight streamed through the arched, stained glass windows surrounding the beautiful hall. Marble pillars stood tall, a testament of antiquity and strength. Night squeezed through the unsettled crowd to reach the front. All eyes were focused on the Elven warrior. Some were wide eyed with fear, some filled with tears and fright and others brave and determined, ready for whatever may come their way.

Even though the sun has been out for most of the day today. These last twelve plus hours have been very trying for the fire service here in eastern Kanawha County. At 19:00 hours Saturday evening, Kanawha County fire departments 9, 11, and 12 were dispatched to serious accident at the 76 mile marker of the West Virginia Turnpike. As an apparatus from station 11 was responding up Paint Creek Road. The responding apparatus from station 11 was itself involved in a serious accident on Paint Creek Road while enroute to the previous accident.

It is with that I regret to inform of the passing of two firefighters from Kanawha County Fire Station 11 due to injuries received from the apparatus crash. Three other firefighters that were also responding in the same vehicle are listed in serious condition at Charleston Area Medical Center's General Division.

Hello Gordi! Yep, almost ready for the brutal battle. Still much to do yet for all of us. So get those fingers typing! Anyone who still want to enter the story or continue along with us, please jump in.

Hi Chooch Hun! Good to see you, but sorry to hear about the accidents. How very tragic!

I am sick with a cold and feeling like crap today. I have a tooth that should be pulled, but I can't make an appointment until this cold is done and over with and I just started with it so...yeah.

I'll just be lying on the couch and hanging out with he Shed cats and the Christmas dog if anyone needs me.

Hope everyone is doing ok!

Tragic. It's still unclear but they state a vehicle was driving on the wrong side of the road. The motorway. Condolences and I hope the injured recover speedily. A very sad day for all.

Just between you and me, I think "someone" made us all sick. Then I related my vomit story, and now you with sick and bad tooth feelings. There's something very wrong here people.

What is a Christmas dog? A dog is for life, not just for Christmas.

LOL! Hope you're a little better now Light. I have a cold and a tooth that should come out. Feeling sickly like ...blah and tired.

The Christmas dog is a joke thing. CrappieKat and I used to post this Christmas pic and there was a dog that I hadn't noticed at first. People wondered where the dog came from. I said I didn't know, but we might as well keep him. LOL
