What crackpot loon thinks being the best is a bad thing?


Why is it bad to encourage being the best?

Its the army FFS. We need to encourage the best. The army is NOT meant to be a inclusive safe space.

Whats the point in having a army if it filled with people who are inept at the role?


Can you image what a SAS team would be like if the liberal agenda was let loose?

Hand to hand combat specialist = Quadriplegic to be inclusive to people in a wheel chair.

Sniper = Blind

Demolition expert = A returned ISIS jihadi as we cant exclude people based on religious ideology or political affiliation.

Intelligence officer = A gender fluid person who makes sure everyone's in a safespace.

Captain = A person with severe down syndrome who special ability is he can write his own name.

Other changes where the abolishing the armys historic symbol, crossed swords over a lion. How is that offensive? What where they doing to replace it with? A picture of a white flag?

"Be the lowest common denominator" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

If you get offended by a jibe at your religion and/or sexuality, then you're probably going to be gibbering basket case, that is a mission, and unit liability when you actually get to the two way firing range. If the "macho culture" puts you off joining then it is safe to assume that you are not the sort of person that should join a fighting service.

It says 'be the best' was a slogan that did not resonate with the target audience.

The target audience for army recruiters tends to be poor working class lads from deprived backgrounds. This is not a group of people who are concerned about liberal snowflaking.

So if 'be the best' wasn't resonating for them, then the problem is something else, surely?

I dont care what the back ground is.

Being the best should be what strived for.

A slogan is not what keeping recruitment down.

Its low pay and low moral thats causing the retainment and recruitment issue not PC snowflake bull# over a slogan.

Pay our soldiers a little more and improve there condition.

I am not military myself but have a number of friends in the army and I agree, its a very varied mix.

Conscription will never be reintroduced in the UK unless the UK mainland itself is attacked. It would be complete political sucide, there would be riots and the government would collapse with a vote of no confidence.

Maybe a conscripted home guard may work as long as they are exempt from deployment....... but even that would be political poison.

Don't be the best...

But please be, at least, a little better than the opposition!
