True, if...TSHTF I think if that scenario comes, we will be dropping like flies the same as it happened with the Black Plague, millions not making it.

But suppose TS don't HTF.... then these things can survive through a monetary correction, or depression such as in 1929. There will always be calamity in ones lifetime. but we all seem to get through it in some fashion. But.... not always. If that's the case, all you'll have to do is gather goods from the dead's cache's.
