Mostly swampy publications want Mueller fired (wapo, NYT, fox, National review etc) Certainly there are some right leaning sites too, but the few I've seen lately have all been major outlets

From what I could find, no, he hasn't lied about it. But I don't know a lot about his interviews with the FBI.

No. They hired Fusion GPS an American company . They used foreigners. Lol.
Stop already. Every lawyer in the land will tell you that you're dreaming if you think that was an issue.
But what's in the dossier. Now that's another story for another day.
You guys bring in every issue Hillary ever faced when ever the screws tighten on trump.
It's so predictable.

Sigh. Again, so what? There's no Russian collusion there. It was concerning how Russia was going to respond to sanctions, and an upcoming UN resolution. Even if we take Flynn's claims as fact (and why should we? he's admitted to lying), there's no underlying crime.

Other than there's provable evidence he lied to the FBI. And that's a no-no. Clear the swamp!

My point is, why should Trump, Kushner, or anyone else besides Flynn be sweating buckets over this? There was nothing wrong with asking Russia to delay the UN vote. We still have no evidence of any collusion between Trump and Russia.

So as long as there's one American between you and the foreigner you're good?

I guess you guys are # out of luck on Trump then.

Let's see if I got this right....

Trump resigns.

Then Pence resigns because he didn't get the VP legally or morally.

Paul Ryan becomes President.

Paul Ryan nominates Hillary as his VP.

Paul Ryan does the right thing and resigns, making Hillary President.

Paul Ryan does the right thing.

LOL that's the best laugh I have had all day. And it is early, plenty of potential for more!

Zero Hedge has a copy of the inductment.

Take a few minutes to go and read it. He's charged with falsely claiming that he didn't ask the Russian ambassador to avoid escalating the situation, and falsely claiming that he didn't ask him to delay a UN vote.

I'm sure I'm not going to be the only person who asks: THAT'S IT ?!?! THAT'S THE WORST THING MUELLER COULD NAIL THIS GUY ON?

You can't lie to special investigator.

More to the point.
Why lie to the FBI about it?
Who was the high ranking official he says he was reporting to on the conversations?
Why did Donald Trump only fire Flynn AFTER the press got wind of his lies and Russia? Obama warned him about Flynn in their WH house meeting. Sally Yates said he was a blackmail risk and had lied weeks before Trump was forced to take action.
Even after firing him, why did Trump ask Comey to drop his investigation into Flynn? and then later fire him when didn't?
What did Flynn offer Mueller in "Proffer" to make Mueller not charge him with a dozen other counts like conspiracy to kidnap a US Citizen for foreign government? Failure to register as a Foreign Agent? Lying on Multiple Security Clearance forms. Undeclared Foreign Income etc. etc.

Things are getting interesting.

Uhm yeah...

Flynn was indicted.

How do you think they got the charge? From a grand jury. Also take note of the dates of the incident.

2016.

Full stop. That part is never going to happen. He is not built that way. He loves the attention too much.

He will force congress to go the full impeachment route before resigning.

Wait wait wait.

Let me get this straight.

People think Flynn is going to roll over on Trump?

AHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAAH

He just pled GUILTY of LYING to the FBI!

He's now admitted to lying!

He's a worthless witness to anything!

Reminds me of the time I was on the jury in a murder case. Their star witness was a jailhouse informant who supposedly heard the guy confess to the murder. He was being offered leniency in exchange for his testimony.

The defense attorney starts his cross-examination:

"Would you lie under oath if it benefited you to do so?"

"Yes, I would."

The DA looked like he wanted to cry. We acquitted the defendant.

We already know the reason he lied. He was facing a myriad of charges that wouldn't have come to light if there was no investigation. He lied to try to keep himself out of hot water. The problem you guys have is none of the charges he was facing had to do with colluding with Russia to influence the election. Things are collapsing for the hopes of getting rid of Trump.

Nope.

They had a legal team talking about it on the radio this AM.

It was not a Grand Jury Indictment.

It was a single charge. The Grand Jury did not issue the indictment.

The way in which the charge was levied vs. Grand Jury Indictment is why everyone knew right away Flynn would plead guilty and was cooperating. The Charge and Guilty Plea is a formality of cooperation.

Because you can't trust the FBI. Remember, he knew he was being surveilled.
Remember, comey lied about Clinton/lynch tarmac documents.

Who was the high ranking official he says he was reporting to on the conversations?

Kushner

Why did Donald Trump only fire Flynn AFTER the press got wind of his lies and Russia?

To appease the mob. Context is key, this was the point in time when trump was trying to unify the country. he learned the hard way that the left doesn't compromise.

Obama warned him about Flynn in their WH house meeting.

Flynn was a very vocal critic of obama, a constant thorn in obama's side. No doubt he didn't like flynn.

What did Flynn offer Mueller in "Proffer" to make Mueller not charge him with a dozen other counts like conspiracy to kidnap a US Citizen for foreign government?

Time will tell

Even after firing him, why did Trump ask Comey to drop his investigation into Flynn?

Because flynn has served the nation for thirty years and this was/is simply a witch hunt

Four members of the Trump Campaign have been indicted or charged.
One was the Chairman of Trump's Campaign and another was his Chief National Security Advisor.
Two are cooperating witnesses to bring down bigger fish.

Keep telling yourself nothing to worry about.

I'm not worried in the least. If Trump gets impeached, it's no skin off my ass. You clearly have a lot of emotional investment in that outcome though, and the facts to date suggest you're gonna be disappointed. I just prefer to look at it from a realistic point of view as opposed to your point of view which is you need him to be impeached because you're not over the election.

The FARA act is probably the biggest "real" charge.

I've heard about the plot to kidnap Gullen, but unless there's evidence Flynn seriously intended to act, there was no crime on his part. Otherwise, I could suggest that I pay you a million dollars to go on a mass shooting spree, and by that logic you'd be guilty of a crime just for having received the offer.

Conspicuously absent in any of it is a plot between Trump and Putin to affect the outcome of the election.
