Can the flat earthers explain to me satellites? also the international space station I have an app which tracks it around the earth and it notifies me when I can see it and I have done so can you explain all that cheers.

One thing i dont understand about this whole flat earth nonsense is WHY? What is to be gained by making such an elaborate lie and telling us the earth is round? Is it some kind of psyop to discredit real conspiracy? Was it masterminded by a bunch of authors down on their luck, wanting to sell books & make money via youtube? These both seem likely scenarios as this conspiracy has gained more traction among non conspiracy minded people than i have ever seen since 9/11...

I gotta admit if i was 10 years younger and didnt learn the art of scrutinizing information i come across i could have very easily been sucked in my self as they do make some interesting points that make you go "hmmm" but the whole idea has more holes in it than swiss cheese!

It is possible that Satan gains a lot somehow from a Soul that denounced God, and that he is trying to harvest as many souls as he can.

Believing that :

- Nothing created everything (big bang)
- We came from monkeys
- Earth spins on it axis violently
- Earth orbits a huge Sun
- Sun orbits a Massive Black Hole eating everything
- Our galaxy is one of trillions upon trillions of others
- Our Universe is one of infinite number of universes

is not helping acknowledging the hand of God in anyway.

The craziest thing is how relative the Astronomical Unit is.

1 AU = +/- 93 million miles which is the Sun's distance from Earth. What happens from the sky upwards depends on this. physics that happens from the sky downwards doesn't change. Also if you remove gravity from the books, everything continue to work like it is, it's like its not need anyway.

Also it's interesting how many other big conspiracies like UFO's and Illuminati leads to Flat Earth which is the mother of all.

If you research how the AU was determined you discover there was room for error, it may also be deliberately applied. It is written that Satan's masteries include deception and shape shifting capabilities, he could have even been Carl Sagan for all I know ffs lol

Speaking of astronomy, I request that you and others who find any potential reason in 'flat Earth' answer one thing:

Please describe what causes the phases of the Moon.

I bet people who live near harbours like to watch ships slowly sink down below the horizon, first the hull slowly disappears then the upper works, (cabins, wheel house, radar array, then the masts last of all), is the vessel sinking into the sea ? or is it sinking below the curve of the world?

I have no idea as i am not really a flat earther but more like no curvature , no spin kinda guy .

Perhaps you being the Globe kinda guy , you would testify that you observed , detected , measured the curve and spin ?

I have been looking for the spin and the curve and can't find them in real life .


Curve and Spin missing ; let's deal with these two issues first and we may look at the moon later .


Btw , how does looking up at sky help determine the shape of Earth ?

I never get the assumption ; everything in sky is round so Earth must be round too !
