*sigh*

I hate to be the one to break this to you but she uses that pole for work-related training.

Such fine examples of humanity, America must be so proud to have reared these shining beacons of hope to the world.

I head to work at a major US retailer in about an hour and work til closing. I'm looking forward to this about as much as a root canal. Actually, I'm pretty sure the dental work would be less overall painful by the time closing rolls around at 10 pm. Haaalp...

People are animals.

We also take the prize for alcoholism and drunk drivers. There isn't really a lot to do here other than drink and murder.

In Chicago they call that 'the weekend'.

Wild stuff, right?

And yeah, I think there are a ton of considerations that most don't even know about when it comes to A/V.

I always loved when someone looking for a big screen learned that projectors weren't just for schools and business presentations. Including their surprise when they also learned that it would cost about a comparable amount, and sometimes cheaper.

I think many customers needs would be better met with a projector, actually.

I'm getting distracted

I feel for ya.

Working retail during the holidays is truly a nightmare.

Sometimes I think people should be required to work one as part of the high school curriculum.

OMG! The page updated, apparently there were 2 assaults at the following:

2017 Brawls close Alabama shopping center, one treated for injuries - 1

2017 One person sustained life-threatening injuries at Columbia Mall - 1

You can actually click on those on the page and read the articles.

Projectors are fantastic

Most don't know you can get one that is 1080p & 3d capable for $500 bucks. And they are actually good.

120"+ screen for $500 is nothing to scoff at!

Really though, I know many mainly focus on black friday, but the entire holiday season in retail is a bonkers show of horrors.

Planned obsolescence,by greed.
I prefer that which I can get fixed not throw away.
I stopped celebrating things decades ago, it's all a fake sales pitch,in THIS case one that is a borderline ,blasphemous act.
BESIDES I'm extremely picky beyond guessing anyway about what I want, and I WILL tell you I don't like it and give it back.
My friends get it.
Company is fine, but holidays are avoided..SAVE Halloween, I like prosthetics and horror and Sci Fi.
