she quit her job the next day.. they should be able to find proof of that and I think a key point.

OMG!

I got to get me a lawyer... I have quit about 20 jobs! Let's see, civil suit for sexual molestation times 20 is...

Oh, I can see Moore's face now as he squirms around in his seat...

DA: "So you say Judge Moore accosted you?"
Witness: "That's right."
DA: "And you say you have proof of this?"
Witness: "I certainly do! I quit my job the next day, and I have the resignation letter to prove it."
Judge: "Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, in light of this overwhelming evidence, you must now vote guilty."

girl claims assault and is so scared quits job next day but has him write smarmy message in HS yearbook, yeah that make perfect sense.

Is there such a thing as logic anymore? Holy crap!!!

The logic is she had previously brought the yearbook to work and had it signed, because he was regular a customer, before she was allegedly assaulted and became afraid of him, since if she quit work the next day she wouldn't have been working there in order to bring it to work.

While we're talking logic and all.

Geez.

Roy Moore signed the high school yearbook of one of his accusers, "To a sweeter more beautiful girl I could not say 'Merry Christmas'...Love, Roy Moore D.A." before he sexually assaulted her, the woman charged on Monday. [. . .]The inscription was dated December 22, 1977, one week before the incident

Did she really quit the next day? Did she tell her sister three years later after it happened supposedly? Did she really tell her mom 10 years later after the alleged assault?

Have those three claims been checked out?

I'm with you on sentiments about general state of affairs - probably some years ahead. One of the reasons I more or less evacuated from more "developed" areas and their inherent risks and moved to very backwoods rural area in a redder than red Alabama county.

None the above says I go quietly and not express my opinions and displeasure about out of control corruption that encourages behavior such as been demonstrated by TPTB in regards my choice as voter and Roy Moore.

Roy Moore,
West Point Graduate
Vietnam Veteran
Etowah County DA
Alabama District Judge
Alabama Supreme Court Judge X2

This record against a backdrop of very questionable claims by very questionable women at very questionable timing with dishonorable politicians and of course every appearance of dirty tricks campaign to capture a Senate seat for someone with bankrupt ideas voters of this state have already rejected.

What most pissed me off is outsiders manipulation of Alabama voters.

No biggie for OWG types as party does not equal agenda and it drives right down "never Trump avenue" perfectly.

I agree with TheRedneck that allowed to stand, just fold up chairs on republic and go home as we the people of Alabama have no vote, no voice.

How is it NeverTrump? In a happy little accident, Trump supported Luther Strange and his offices first remarks on this matter were that if they're true he should resign.

Siding against Moore here is siding with Trump.

Sure, we should wait and see if Moore is actually guilty, but additional information is coming out every day, and it's looking bad for him. More girls, more witnesses, more half truth denials. At this point I don't think it's even a question of if he was going out with 16 and 17 year olds as a mid 30's guy, he's already admitted it. It's only a question of the 14 year old. And even without the 14 year old it's sufficently creepy and indicative that he has no moral compass.

Surely you can comprehend better than that.

When Trump endorsed Luther Strange, he stated why he endorsed him: because Strange had been happy to support Trump's agendas without looking for special favors; Trump said he knew nothing of Moore at the time. Trump also said he would support Moore if the voters choose Moore... which we did. Trump even later said he was very happy that Alabama had chosen Moore after speaking with him.

When asked about these allegations, Trump replied that if it were true, he believed Moore would step aside. If - then is not that hard a concept: 'then' happens only when 'if' is true. Since Moore didn't step aside,it follows that Trump does not believe the allegations.

You should really back off on putting words in peoples' mouths. After all, there are plenty of establishment types ready and willing to actually say what you wanted Trump to say.

I think you made a good decision, but of course I will admit to a prejudice on that issue. I have heard it said that liberal policies originate in California, spread through New England, infiltrate the rest of the country, and finally make it to the Deep South. That actually seems about right from my experience.

Unfortunately, it seems the corruption has finally reached here. End of the line, point of no return.

Ok, so how many people say guilty, throw him out based on allegations at the last minute?

Not me with this flimsy last minute horse poop.

I say, if guilty then he can step down when proven by more than the court of public opinion. Shaming him out is all you got otherwise and I will say let the courts do their thing and the chips fall.

I am not going to agree with a theft of the Senate race using way old information that may not be at all true. If it is, yep I agree it is a shame and wish they would have done something sooner to get in on the books when he was supposedly a Cad. If I was in AL , I am voting Moore with what I have seen. Too late to NOT be about politics at this point for the 'victims'. As a brother, I know of a baby sitter's husband who diddled my sister so I KNOW this to be something to be serious but public liars are everywhere, NO THANKS to the MSM... none at all.

Sounds like the one today that spoke is either a whopper of a lie or he is a cad. Gloria the Democrat Lawyer Alred representing her is a strike against her story for a lot of people. The door locking comment is weird as no car will let you lock someone in the door unless a back seat child lock of the modern era and if he was in the back seat with her, well that is hard to do if they don't want you there. Was it the back seat and he jumped over? It Not likely since that wasn't the accusation at the presser.

No, I think this is human decency at work. If the Republicans lose this seat, they effectively lose a majority in the Senate. It would be a major blow to the party.

I think that what's going to happen is that Moore gets elected, the Senate boots him, and they appoint Strange in order to keep the seat.

It's quite clear that Moore doesn't have the necessary moral character to hang out in a den of theives.

If that happens, they had better be prepared to continue booting and placing Strange for the next several decades. Alabama would not elect Strange to dogcatcher after a stunt like that.

Does no one think fair and free elections are a good thing any more?

Looking on couple other sites that have good clear photos of yearbook alleged to show some veracity to Allred script reader on television today there seems to be possible forgery.

Sorry can't link twit or blog posts but go look at Thomas Wictor@ and look for yourself.

1st item is the first name appears to be "Kay" not Roy meaning everything after "Kay" is forged.

Comparison of a real Roy Moore signature differs substatially from what was presented by script reader. Notice "M" in "Merry" and "M" in forged Moore. The forgery is angular while real signature is more fluid and curvy.

The oddity of two dates is one thing, spot difference in "77" between the two?

Next is fact yearbook are issued late spring, usually June therefore yearbook has to be a 76'/77' yearbook issued June 77' - who the hell carries a yearbook around for six months to have messages and signature put in them at work around Chistmas no less.

But wait an AL.com story today had former teacher who recollected the script reader had recently moved to Gadsden from California in the 77' school year wondering if that has anything to do with not showing photo of script reader in yearbook today - maybe her photo is not there and that would've severely crimped script readers whole story.

Just sayin,

By Robert E. Lee's sword, you're right!

I worked out of high school as a draftsman. Manual drafting requires a particular skill in adjusting hand movements, and it allowed me to learn how to do a forgery. Before anyone jumps, no, I never used that particular talent for anything illegal or immoral, but I did have some fun worrying friends by exactly duplicating their signatures.

The way I did it was to analyze the movements of their hands while writing. That is the basis of handwriting analysis, and it does not change over time, certainly not in the midst of writing a short note. What can change is the aggressiveness of the movements as a hand tires, or the extravagance of the motions with emotional variations, but the basic hand position and movements do not change.

Now, look at the pic I posted above. In the first section, every initial capital letter except the first T in 'To' is connected to the second letter. That T breaks, but the motion at the end of the letter sequence moves directly to the o. The break is a release of pressure, not a change in direction. Now look at the R and M in 'Roy Moore'... The initial capital letters do not connect to the second letter in either case. The motion at the end of the letter sequence in each case is a complete change of motion direction.

Now compare the M in 'Merry' with the M in 'Moore'... In 'Merry,' the humps are close to equal height, but in 'Moore' the second hump is far pronounced over the first. In 'Merry' the initial stroke is downward, leading into the upward motion to start the letter. In 'Moore' the initial stroke is upward, to create a introductory curve that does not even appear in 'Merry.' In 'Merry' the final downward stroke is more or less straight, made with a quick, sudden motion to complete the letter, while in 'Moore' it is curved back inward, to terminate the motion of writing before moving on to the second letter.

There's a lot more, but I won't bore everyone with the complete analysis; it could take several posts. The bottom line is that everything up to and including the word 'Love' was written by one person, while someone else wrote everything after that. There is also a good probability that the name of the restaurant was written by someone else still.

That's not an opinion. That is a fact.

Thanks for the educated opinion and a much more thorough explanation of the obvious forgery.

Now that should be proof of a witch hunt for any reasonable person - however unreasonable hide bound thinking seems in prevalence when one wants certain outcomes nessesarily not bound in truth.

Bye the bye, attended a technical high school (think uber manufacturing skillset, not vocational) and also did old fashioned manual drafting as a formal class back in 70's

Excellent find, TheRedneck. I have worked with wholly or partially forged documents too. There's definitely more than one person's handwriting there.

Most importantly, the INK's AGE should be scientifically dated by a Forensic lab. If the ink is determined to be less than 30 years old, this woman should go to jail for defamation of character. (The more recent the writing, the stronger the case against her.)
