Yep, they are after his views. I don't agree with all of his opinions but I do see a guy that is not a mainstream RINO. He is right on transgenders should be treated like the rest of society. No one gets special treatment was what I get from that point of view. I think every single person who was NON establishment gets the loony tunes come after them and the accusations from all corners that only the thoughts have to be planted in the electorate and do not have to be true at all if timed like this hit piece.

That's the same thing I am seeing. It has nothing to do with the allegation, just the issues... which was what I demonstrated by letting the thread slide off topic. Given a chance, Moore's detractors will go to the issues every time.

I wasn't aware Jones supported PP, thank you. My reason for voting Moore, again, is simple: with Roy Moore, I know what I'm getting. With Jones, I have no idea if he's telling the truth or not.

Ironically, that was also my issue with Luther Strange. I just get a bad feeling about him; always have.

People outside the state just don't get it. It's all about honesty. We're the state that elected Big Jim Folsom for Governor, an admitted crook who would stand up in the middle of the state legislature and admit to wrongdoing. At least we knew what he was up to. Bentley got away with murder until he started lying about that affair... and it was downhill from there.

Tell the truth in Alabama or go home.

Other than unsubstantiated claims, I see nothing so far to corroborate the story or the timing of the story. I do see people like you who do mental gymnastics to make your point. Predators do follow a pattern and sexual predators will go to jail if proven. Are you saying we have proof of anything or not?

What gets me is when Republican Congressmen say: "Roy Moore should withdraw if he's guilty".

They should be saying: "Roy Moore has to be presumed innocent, unless proven guilty. That is how we do it in America."

Members of the GOP who previously supported Moore find the statements of the women and corroboration to be worth paying attention to. But that means nothing I suppose.

The allegation is that Moore dated this woman when she was 14 (underage) with her parent's knowledge, and during one date touched her through her underwear. There is no allegation beyond that.

No physical rape claim, statutory only.
