I see some conservatives are using one of their favorite tactics of "yeah but what this person and that person", deflect deflect.

Small world! I worked for 18 years as a draftsman, mainly in architectural and structural. The last ten of that I ran my own drafting service.

I looked up an actual signature of Moore, and my opinion is that whoever wrote his name is skilled at forgery. The tell is that they, like most forgers, tried to replicate the letters instead of trying to replicate the motions. It's a much more common type of forgery, and much easier to spot. For some reason, though, they totally missed the word 'Roy,' which makes me wonder if that was originally the name 'Kay' as you mentioned. It is possible that the word 'Kay' was a signature of the same person who wrote the message, but not the last name and certainly not the rest.

Oh, I also found a report that the 'Olde Hickory House' is called the 'Old Hickory House' (no e at the end of 'Old'). I'm trying to find it on Google street maps, but so far that is difficult. Gadsden really needed to hire a city planner that wasn't drunk at some point...

I'm halfway tempted to drive down there and check out the address myself. It's a couple hours away.

I assume you believed all those who accused bill clinton.

BUT THIS is some deep state elitist take over plot. good lord.

Sperm on a dress kind of helps....

The problem is timing... She could have come out 100s of times in the past and all of a sudden.... Moore tried to fondle my breasts!!! A little to late... I say take him to court and if he is proven guilty then remove him if he loses. Sure seems guilty until proven innocent.

GP has story up on what Thomas Wictor wrote on twitter, there's link to yelp showing spelling of restaurant name as well as location.

link

In the script reading today it was mentioned that script reader was business woman in Anniston but chamber commerce rep in Anniston said no listing by that name. Hmmm

Whoever is fabricating this fake scandal, isn't too bright. Sorta reminds me of that over-the-top, sloppy Anti-Trump dossier.

Forensic "Ink Dating" will prove whether that writing is OLD or RECENT, beyond a shadow of a doubt. If the attorney won't allow that test, case closed.

The pastor letter of support has been shown to be fake. A 5th woman came forward, with proof. Stories of Moore being banned from public places.

Now a second advertiser has abandoned Hannity for his support of Moore. First it was Keurig, now it's Volvo.

Therein lies the problem. The attorney.

There is no legal case here. The Statute of Limitations is long passed, and absolutely no legal action can be taken against Judge Moore. Legally, he is not guilty, even if he had raped an entire high school cheerleader team in a monastery.

Civilly, a complaint could be put forward, but considering the age of the allegations, it would be doomed from the start. The memories and testimony of an event from 40 years ago is simply woefully insufficient to prove an allegation based even on a "preponderance of the evidence."

Thus, there is no legal case against Judge Roy Moore. Thus, there is no court involved, and no attorney has legal standing to even ask for such a test. This is nothing more than a "he said, she said" situation that is being used to interfere with an election, just as surely (if not more so) than the alleged yet unproven Russian involvements in Trump's election. If justice existed, the Washington Post would be placed under special investigation for the next year for interference in an election... to Alabama, that is interference from a foreign state.

Do we take your word for it, or do you have a link?

Along with an admission from the police officer who made the allegation that there was no official ban, only rumors.

More 'proof'?

You do realize what 'proof' is, right? Need a dictionary?

"But less than a day after the letter was published, it was revealed that this was simply a copy of a letter posted to Moore’s campaign website during the Senate primary, before he was accused of being a pedophile — with three new sentences deceptively added to make it look like it was about the general election."

I realize that Republicans wouldn't be voluntarily offering to give up control of the Senate here if there weren't some serious legs to this scandal.

Edit:
here

Stories from 15 years ago of Moore doing this stuff back in his hometown. So much for the timing argument.

Shocking to see so many willingly embracing these accusations with no proof. Politics is already in the toilet, but willing fools are now giving dirty politics the thumbs up... candidates will be chosen in the future on which side can make the most mud stick. Power in the hands of the most devious - fully embraced and endorsed by the people. Madness.

Moore's defense is getting weaker and weaker. His wife is out there making up lies, his biggest defenders are people stealing the identities of dead soldiers.

amp.thedailybeast.com...

Edit:

In another event it seems that while Moore was a judge he helped out a rapist by discrediting the rape victim by saying the girl wasn't allowed to claim it was rape because she was sexually active with other men.

Edit again:
And another time Moore sided with an accused rapist because the TWO women he raped were lesbians and Moore thought that because they weren't attracted to men they couldn't claim it was a violation.

His defence should be as simple as a denial and then the burden of proof should be on the accusers.
That you would entertain such accusations with no evidence to support them speaks to exactly what I was I was talking about. All it takes is cash and some willing people to make accusations and there you have it - election rigging, wilfully supported by the easily led.

Actually, three paragraphs were removed... and to be honest, I didn't base my opinion on that letter anyway.

So 47 instead of 50 pastors support him... that's a bad thing?

Oh, I'm sure it has legs... just not the ones you want it to have. Ask yourself, why would sitting Congressmen openly state they are ready and willing to ignore the results of the Alabama election to get their way? I thought attempts to throw an election using social media a bad thing, or is that only when it's Russia after Trump?

I seriously doubt these Congressmen are so anxious to overthrow the US Government just because they might come into contact with someone who has been accused of a sexual crime... especially considering many of them have been accused of much worse in more recent times.

Your bias is showing... are you Russian?

Incidentally, I spoke to a friend and collaborator of mine today. He's one person who was originally not going to vote in this elections, but after hearing the responses to this accusation, he has decided to vote for Moore. I have not spoken to a single Moore supporter who has changed their mind.

I have this sneaking suspicion that this ploy is going to backfire...
