Because that would have been a major debate for the campaign: to use it or not? That would have left a major email trail that could have been exploited at the time of the leaks. Of course, that discussion might have been redacted by the "anonymous leaker" because the time was not yet ripe... and it might have made Russia look bad.

Considering Fusion GPS was involved in the fake dossier it would only make sense they were somehow involved in order to push the bs trump russia collusion crap.

The Democrats cocked this one up pretty bad and instead of cutting their losses they keep doubling down on the lies. I give it a week before we start seeing individual Democrats involved with the DNC, Podesta and Clinton trying to throw each other under the bus to shift blame.

Clinton has already started with her latest statement on people needing to give Trump a fair chance to do his job.

No it hasn't. It's stood up to two legal inquiries and several Trump aides were forced to resign and declare themselves as Rusian agents as a result of the dossiers revelations. Others including Trump and his son have been forced to change stories (i.e attempts to buy intel from kremlin sources which they'd previously publicly claimed were discussions about child adoption).

The only claim in it that seems untrue is the sex tape claim, which seems like a deliberate smear that both Republican and Democrats jeopardised national security and the integrity of elections in desperate pursuit for negative campaign material. While not illegal in this case, there should be laws to prevent such ridiculous election strategies.
