I love all the "experts" voicing their "opinions" in this thread....

I believe that one EMP, would seriously cramp our style, folks. 90% casualties or not.

Not to mention, one EMP gets launched, and that's it kids. WWIII.

Ciao, chiquitos!!!!

How many have had power outages long enough to go without hot showers and refrigerated food? Even a few days changes your whole life.

Ever heard of American Imperialism. They'll never say the word in the supposedly 'liberal' MSM, Obama never said it, no POTUS ever has to my knowledge (I keep an eye out for these sorts of things), but hell there's a rich wikipedia page on it, for starters. Hundreds of documentaries touch on it, although most would ever air on TV.

Here you go its pretty comprehensive although not 'complete':
en.wikipedia.org...

In case you though it was a so called 'benevolent empire', well nope:
America's death toll on the world: 27,000,000++
That's from 2007. There's some more entries I could add, that was what I could gather in one evening I think it was, and that's before Obama and Hillary imploded the Middle East.

I was asking what would be the hostile posture against Planet Earth... not so much against mankind

EMP Myths looks like some good info on the subject.

Almost clicked off when I read HEMP, thought I must be on a hippie site worried their indoor growing lights would be fried.

HEMP is an acronym for high-altitude nuclear electromagnetic pulse.

a reply to: seasonalreally so now nk has developed codbringers. wow just wow are you sure you didn't hear about that from god awful reboot of red dawn. i smell an ocean of bull manure here yes i know nukes make emp andi know a high altitude nuke detonation can take out unshielded electronics this expert is a moron. i would be more worried that they would smuggle a nuke across ocean to canada then drive it across northern border of us where once it was here could be driven anywhere. i do we need to take out lil kim his command structure and his launch and nuke facilities . but we would not be in this mess if billy had no let them have a reactor.

I guess it's a good thing I live in the middle of corn fields.

So the 90% deal is city folk right. You know the ones against the second amendment. Or is it wrong of me to assume that?

But isn't this whole article, story, warning an assumption?

On the other hand, I guess the Amish will be just fine.

Eh, not City folk where I'm from, and I'm from Chicago (a place many in conservative media falsely portray as being anti-2nd Amendment. It's just simply not a true assessment whatsoever, at least from my decades of observation.

Very much agree with you. It is sad it is this way. And it is even sadder that so few of us can actually see it, or at least acknowledge it.

Frustrating because it's gotta go, but it won't. Been like it since the year dot, and I don't see it changing anytime soon if ever.
Maddening because the solutions to most of the worlds problems like this are so easily fixed.

Also Hemp, as in the plant, is used for a wide variety of things. One of the things it is not used for is smoking as it's possibly the lowest THC producing plant in the Cannabis family.

If you see the word hemp anywhere, chances are more likely than not that it won't be anything stoner or drug related.

Now excuse me, I got some hemp canvas here I was gonna paint on, but now I am gonna smoke it instead. lol

So we'll deal with North Korean blackmail and threats for the foreseeable future unless we still stop this now, while we the door is closing.

One thing to be sure, the American retaliatory strike from submarines unaffected by the EMP would destroy 100 percent of North Korea and its fat dictator, Kim knows this so I don't think he would ever roll those dice.

Yes, it would be a piss poor move on anyone leader's part to EMP any country that has the capacity to rain hell down AFTER an EMP strike.

This could only work if it were an enemy of the US that uses NK as a scapegoat or (another) false flag.

It is not human nature. It is inhuman nature which has been force fed to us from cradle to grave. From state sponsored propaganda and programming. From movies and television. History books and documentaries. If you tell people they're monsters long enough they'll start to believe it. Even longer and they'll start to act on it. Which is why we are where we are today.

So give into nihilism. It's exactly what the cabal wants you to promote. As one of their own put it:

"We shall unleash the nihilists and the atheists and we shall provoke a great social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to all nations the effect of absolute atheism; the origins of savagery and of most bloody turmoil."

- Albert Pike

You are precisely the product they strive to produce. Congratulations.

There is no doubt an EMP would wreck havoc on the US, but killing 90% of the population? I find that very hard to believe. In a worst case scenario the lack of electricity would mean no fresh water for many people and a shortage of food. Theoretically that could lead to significant deaths, but nowhere near 320 million. If, and I mean IF, the dead were to create a plague scenario I could see a fairly significant percentage of the population being affected. But still not 90%.

It would have to be a perfect # storm of events under the most severe conditions to even approach that number.

I have plenty of rumors the US used an EMP blast(or something similar) to cause the great New York City blackout in the 70's.

They did this to show off the new weapon, and possibly secondary for psy ops intel. Needless to say they were awarded the contract.

Of course the official story is much different.

Yeah, and 97% of scientists believe in AGW.

But do we really want to roll the dice on a guess? Unlike other countries that have checks and balances built into their WMD systems, I would imagine NKs system is Kim making a phone call. One mistake during a SK drill, technical misinformation to Kim (which almost started WWIII in the past with Russia), Kim having a good hair day.. all it takes is one thing to set him off, and so it begins. They shouldn't have WMDs (including EMP style) for obvious reasons.

Also who cares if the 90% is off. Say they are off by 50%.. a gross miscalculation. 40% of the U.S. is still a massive #. And our way of life would change forever. And we'd not be the United States of course.. we'd be Russian.. or Chinese.. or whoever decided to invade at that point. It would be over.

To this point U.S. and SK intelligence has grossly miscalculated NKs capabilities. Probably aided with the help of another country. Probably Russia. You must assume their accelerated advances will continue apace. You must also consider that whoever is helping them may try to goad them into attacking the United States. Someone is using NK as a weapon against the U.S. - and I don't think simply ignoring it is the right choice.

Finally the thought of sanctions. Harsh enough, over time they'd certainly have an affect, and would probably help. But the problem is that NK may be getting more than just asset and training help - they might be getting funds as well. In which case sanctions would have a drastically lessened effect.

Of course not, only in defense. But would you rather fight this guy when he has a couple possible weapons, or when he has dozens?
