Today I stumbled upon something written by Jacques Vallée in Forbidden Science Part 1:

"It is at the level of multiple universes and control systems of consciousness that the UFO phenomenon becomes scientifically interesting, not at the simplistic level of a search for the “propulsion system” of UFOs. The technology we are witnessing may not be based on what we understand today as propulsion."

Since the man has written the foreword of 'Gods' I find this a big contradiction looking at the To The Stars project. Did something change since this book? Given, Vallée admits some of his viewpoints have changed since written, but I don't suspect this is one of them?

Makes me wonder even more where this will go, but so far it doesn't add up for me (anymore).

Apparently NASA has some big announcement about a "breakthrough discovery for the alien-hunting Kepler telescope" set for a press conference this Thursday streamed live from NASA. Typically something like this is finding traces of water on another world or something similar. But the timing is interesting.

Cagey on the details, NASA’s press release states that machine learning “demonstrates new ways of analyzing Kepler data.”

But, Tom DeLonge has said he promises real UFO videos and alien technology for his investors. Hardly drip feeding us with statements such as that. Honestly, I don't think anything could prepare the world for an alien reveal no matter how much preparation. Did you see the movie "Paul"? It would shock some no matter what was drip fed out there.

I actually think we are ready now, the world bears no relation to that of the 40s/50s. Unless the reveal portended doom I think western society would absorb it surprisingly easily. Aliens, UFOs, parallel universes are so far into the cultural mainstream already it would become the new accepted reality quickly.

I would go so far as to say that our civilization is in desperate need for a cultural shock that makes us reconsider the path we are on. So far from living in harmony with nature, so close to irreversible destruction of our biosphere.

I also consider it a possiblity that disclosure from the US government is not entirely voluntary.

I agree. I think we'd be okay unless they are cannibals coming to eat us...which is doubtful.

Don't fret about Global Warming, it's just a scheme the rich like Gore dreamed up to rob people through taxation. The planet is fine. It was here long before us and it'll be here long after us. I'm more concerned about the intolerant people that cannot accept our current President. Those hateful racist sexist bigots chill me more than global cooling.

Id ignore jaques valle. His hypothesis is propsterous, inplausible and largely untenable under most forms of scrutiny.

Just because he doesnt understand a phenomena or more likely a constellation of phenomena doesnt mean he has to shoot the moon and come up with some outlandish hypothesis. Valles not even on the same bus with the rest of science or observed natural phenomena. He took a transfere....hes way over there. In kookoo land with david ike and john lear.

I think miragemans latest post was spot on again.

I am not very worried about global warming, indeed I have even come across a theory that claims that other planets of our solar system are heating up, too. As if there were some change with our sun.

My main worries are the loss of nutritional value of our food (less vitamins and minerals) and the increase of toxic residues in water, air and soil.

All of these subjects are hard to verify for an individual. But what I can attest to is that the costs for (mandatory) health care in our country have been going up steadily for many years. At a rate of 5% to 10% per year. This has become an economic problem for many families. And it is a clear indication that general health is deteriorating. I recently read that for the first time in many years the average life expectancy has come down. The point I want to make: Especially in the western, civilized countries we seem to degenerate physically. Less robust, less capable of surviving. In my opinion it has to do with a life separated too far from nature. Too many huge corporations whose only motivation seems to be increasing share holder value, at any cost and completely reckless towards our biosphere.

But I don't think that the solution is going back to the stone age. The solution is to advance technology further and to free people from economic slavery so that they can afford to consider the well-being of others, animals, plants and the entire planet. The way most of us have to live enforces a selfish, narrow-minded attitude.

It is so ridiculous looking at DeLonge's tweets and posts over the last few weeks, especially the ones he deleted, and then seeing his twitter, instagram page today. He hyped it up so much, saying it was due by this past Saturday. Even posted twice about the "Countdown being on". And he said that "the whole world will know about UFO's in just a few days".

Then I saw the new Space Policy Directive signed today by Trump. Just more of the same # he's been saying since his inauguration. A FULL year of claims of "new technology" and "innovation". But nothing has started, and nothing has actually happened. It's as if they are holding us at bay. Just teasing us with it everyday, so that we sit on the edge of our seats waiting for it, rather than acting to try to make it happen (even though there is very little we can do).

Government is not our friend. DeLonge is clearly all twisted up and there is something seriously wrong with him or his plan. We need to join together, regardless of our specific beliefs on the topic, and fight against the government. I don't care how ignorant you are on the topic - if you will fight with me to force the government to do ANYTHING about this, then you are an ally. It doesn't matter how partial the disclosure is. They just need to cross the threshold of releasing the technologies. It is too late, and we need to get the ball rolling. People are dying, suffering so much.

This is probably a real stretch, especially considering the source, but I came across this, the story is dated just a few days ago:

Promising new discoveries coming from the NASA headquarters – their Kepler Telescope has come across a humongous artificial megastructure which for now is suspected to have been built by an advanced alien civilization.

The possibility of a megastructure is certainly old news, but in light of NASA's upcoming announcement regarding the Kepler telescope, I thought it was mildly interesting

I see the beginnings of potentially successful media company... That's an incredibly hard thing to pull off in this day and age too. Audiences are so fractured it's no longer accurate to call them "audiences" IMO.

If TTS can manage to get traction and significant reach they will be a huge success at building a media empire. First steps I think, if you can't prove the reach and engagement then all the rest is spinning wheels.

Nobody wants to pour millions into research that nobody else will ever know about.

I try to buy organic and non GMO. I hope natural pesticides overcome Monsanto. I knew someone that worked there and even they thought Monsanto was evil.

I'm hoping the reveals will bring a flood of new members here at ATS too. Behind that I hope it increases your revenue to reward the ATS owners for all their hard work.

You are right its incredibly difficult to build a media empire from the ground up.

However, its hard to get that investing fanbase if youre not delivering on the main premis of your company's charter of bringing disclosure and actual physical proof of aliens and ufo technology to the people.

As is, his reach is diminishing daily and people who were once initially engaged are loosing any confidence in him. He needs to deliver, and deliver good. Not give the people something thats just rehashed info thats been floating around the ufo community. sometimes for decades now. Which is all hes really done so far. If he cant do that. And i suspect he cant. Then i see his venture crashing and burning and ending up a unfortunate joke.

I feel sorry for tom it would appear like hes being set up for a bennewitz job of colossal proportions. Think about it. If his partners, people i think who are in cahoots with the bennewitzing job minus folks like putthoff, can pull off building a media empire tacitly intended for sewing disinfo and red herring filled rabbit holes that would be a huge score for the govt and MIC firms in accomplishing their goals of controlling and manipulating the cognitive awareness and direction of the ufo believer community. And via that keep them far, far away from ever getting to the truth of ufos and various govt programs or assets.
