Yeah we do have the physics for them and the machines. Ive explained it several times in various threads around ats. Even more interesting is once you understand the evolution of the technology you can understand the various shapes and designs over the decades and why they are like that.

Sadly no one wants to actually learn how these things work. That would require some degree of work.
Ok link us to your posts where physics are explained and i'll tell you if that is indeed plausible. yes and i do have a degree

Cool. What's your degree in?

I can, im not going to waste my time. Ive established my self just fine here without having to cater to you. You do the work. Im not bothering.

The second part of your post is non sequiter and got nothing to do with the first. Not sure why youre being so insecure here or what youre trying to prove or why youre even bothering.

So you have established yourself on ats and a nobel prize is in order, i suppose

Well, there was an announcement today, of sorts:

Our Reg A+ offering has been approved to accept credit cards for investments, making the investment process even easier. You can now use Visa, MasterCard or Discover to own equity in the company.

Ultimately it is about the money isn't it?

anyway....I have applied for a job with Toms movie production company as cast or crew... Looks like it will be a Union gig.

I don't care if he's a charlatan or not...business is business!!

Actually, that's what Tom DeLonge said about credit cards on Instagram. Seems some people are too lazy to make a bank transfer (or they don't know how to do it):

YOU ASKED, WE DELIVERED - SEC has just approved the use of credit cards for our investment on ToTheStarsAcademy.com. Also: Good news coming for our share holders.

From what I've seen over the years, it's definitely about the money a lot more often than not.

Whether that translates to Mr. DeLonge's efforts being legitimate or not, I can't say, but it's always wise to be cautious whenever someone starts eyeing your wallet.

Meanwhile, looking back a few posts, I have to confess it amuses me when fellow ATSers express or challenge one another's qualifications, because it resembles flexing in the mirror.

No one is infallible, no matter how many degrees or well-placed acquaintances they may have, and no one knows that better than those who do.

In a like manner, Tom DeLonge appears to be trading on his reputation to fund his projects, which inherently requires some degree of faith on the part of prospective patrons. But in the Information Age, faith is a rapidly-dwindling commodity, and rightly so.

On the Internet, paranoia is a virtue.

So you're CLAIMING to be some well-connected Engineer DARPA expert? How does that figure into this thread?

I would be curious as to who Tom's financial advisers are. I see decent branding/ marketing and he has enough $$$ capital to put together a good production team of designers, writers etc to venture into entertainment. From the film perspective I would like to see the script before I sign on as a producer but if he has the connections he claims; might be worth a closer look. as they say....

Love many, trust few but always paddle your own canoe.

Tom retweeted this tweet today from George Knapp, originally made 10 days ago:

Remember the October announcement made by rocker Tom Delonge and his team of former government insiders? Stay tuned.

With the comment

Stay very tuned

George was asked about the delay in Tom getting stuff out and said

My guess is that whatever is coming is taking longer than he originally anticipated.

So...no new updates.

The CIA estimates that over half the UFOs reported in the 1950s and 1960s were US spy planes. Of course we don't know what the aircraft are that are still classified today which may account for some fraction of UFO sightings, because they are still classified.

6 Top-Secret Aircraft that are Mistaken for UFOs

The CIA estimates that over half of the UFOs reported from the '50s through the '60s were U-2 and SR-71 spy planes. At the time, the Air Force misled the public and the media to protect these Cold War programs; it's possible the government's responses to current sightings of classified craft--whether manned or remotely operated--are equally evasive.

Surely this couldn't be the Big announcement delonge and knapp were hinting too?

Even this would be an all time low for delonge , if this turns out to be his Big announcement.
I don't know if DeLonge can sink much lower than posting known CGI as if it's evidence of anything real, but if this was the big announcement it's good on two points:

First the announcement was made by the promised date, and
Second it vindicates Knapp who implied the announcement could be true, and this announcement really is true as far as I can tell.

If this wasn't it, then it's another date missed, right?

a reply to: vlawde
Maybe DeLonge should wait until he has something to tell us, and then tell us.

These missed dates of future announcements don't help and only seem to hurt.

I am all ears if TDL just wants to talk about the clandestine aerial threat program one of his TUPE'd board members headed up in the past ....

In a field that "don't got nothing"- this is a very big "something".

For something so thoroughly planned out you have to ask...why the delays!?

Lots of moving parts I suspect, most of which out of delonges control. His mistake is constantly quoting timescales he can't control as ones he can, makes him look either stupid or shady (depending how kind you are).

The UFO lore will tell you that we have to be conditioned slowly to the existence of ET through sci-fi and entertainment. So my guess is that this is exactly what Tom's handlers have in mind. He will be heading up entertainment. That's what his website says. Ignore his mumblings and tweets in public. What his project boils down to is a sci-fi project.

Now if there really was a secret regarding ET to disclose that has been hidden by governments all these years then I would expect it come from reputable organisations like NASA, the ESA and other scientific establishments. I would expect a slow revealing of the workings of our solar system then the discovery of exo-planets. This education would continue as possible Earth like planets were revealed. The possibility of microbial life, perhaps more complex lifeforms, in our own solar system and beyond would then become the next logical step for discussion. Signals or signs of intelligent life elsewhere would form a part of that slow release of information. Until finally the day arrives when it's a shock for no one to hear the words "we are not alone". A message 7 billion of us would receive.

Or you can believe Tom DeLonge is yer man. His best selling album sold around 2.2m in the US and about another 1m in the rest of the world. So you can see his demographic appeal. Assume none of those albums were bought as unwanted presents, everyone is still into Blink 182 who owns them and also interested in aliens. Oh and no one bought two or more copies either. That means he appeals to less than 1% of the population of the USA. It also means his reach is totally insignificant on a global scale.

Add that together with what Tom has delivered so far and what do you see?
