Active Shooter Las Vegas, Mandalay Bay

After reading through this ENTIRE thread..here's my assessment:

1. Complete confusion and over reacting to an isolated incident in the end.

2. Multiple reports to blanket the area of operations to further confuse the public.

3. Same methods used in Dallas, Boston, and do I dare say it, 9/11 New York.

4. Then here comes the gun people.... weapons being used....capacity.... laws....and etc.

5. Instead of multiple attackers, there is one...or two that wiped out the many. (See #4 and don't forget the narrative being used....)

6. Obviously, peace officers were completely caught off guard by this and by their own confusion and desperation, many reports were false.

7. Then we have the blame/distraction folks who would lend credibility to such groups as Antifa and BLM for this incident.... furthering the divide between us all without any evidence.

8. Look at the star counts for anything related to guns...extremists groups, i.e. Antifa, BLM...etc.
That is a tell tale sign of social media manipulation or engineering!!

Please feel free to add as this goes along that way we will THINK AND CRITICALLY ANALYZE THIS EVENT...

Police scanner said they have one detained claiming to be involved.

Earlier they said they had a white male wearing all camo with a backpack detained.

Also another 413 (guy with gun) detained, but turned out to be a BB gun.

another code 413 (armed suspect) reported over the scanner.

My bets are on Antifa..

The possible perp I posted definitely fell into that category. Just have to wait and see.

I wouldn't be surprised if, no matter what we hear tonight, the official story is "lone gunman".

1 shooter, maybe suicide, auto weapon.

Mandalay Hotel.

Experienced shooter.

Definately a terrorist attack.

20 mins of shooting, at least.

As much chance someone with an aversion to cowboy hats, boots and billy ray cyrus than antifa.

Just a reminder -
In situations like this you will have people misreport things, like someone with a weapon. Its not intentional but a result of adrenaline and fear.

You also have other crimes occurring. The city / crime does not shut down when a major incident occurs.

You will also have people with their own firearms / other law enforcement / plain clothes officers / detectives / federal agents.

Sometimes all people see is the weapon and not the badge / credentials with it.

Just food for thought. These situations are very fluid and trying to maintain some semblance of order can be difficult, especially when many civilians are involved.

Word is one shooter shot dead on 32nd floor.

FD Medic on Fox - says he personally called at least 15 dead.

Vegas is of course in dire need of blood donations. For anyone who can help in that area that is seeing this:

Just heard the clearest audio from the shooting I've heard yet. First burst sounded like two automatic rifles firing at diferent sequences or maybe rates of fire. Second burst sounded like an automatic rifle and (what sounded to me) like a pistol calibre carbine firing Automatically. None of them sounded Semi-Automatic at all to my ears not in the least.

So, if it was one guy/girl, then he would have had three weapons. The carbine, and the two rifles. That's a lot of gun to be handling and changing magazines by ones-self. Also the legalities of purchasing such arms is very comprehensive and very cost prohibitive. So that would be another barrier to entry and problem for the single shooter. I can't speak to anything black market as I have no idea. Some weapons are not hard to modify yourself though from semi to Automatic.

Either way, there is no way that was a single shooter in my mind. I'd like to know how he managed it all if it was. Super skeptical if they declare it a single individual.

Also that was a ton of speculation on my part, but have a good bit of experience around automatic rifles, and some with automatic pistol carbines though not near as much as with rifles.... so grains of salt need to be taken.

shots fired at multiple hotels. mass casulty event. multiple confirmed dead and injured. 1 suspect is confirmed down who had multiple automatic weapons. (20 minutes ago)
