Active Shooter Las Vegas, Mandalay Bay

I'm not sold on his brother's denial of political affiliations, he didn't come off as entirely honest as when he answered about no religious affiliations, but I don't think he's lying to outright hide something. I suspect more a lie of omission because ambiguity.

They may not have ever discussed anything political at length for the brother to make any political affiliation claims, but he definitely knows enough to suspect something. Kind of like with me and my older brother. I know he's not religious, and I can't definitively say whether or not he has any political affiliations because we've never discussed politics in any meaningful capacity. But I do know he leans somewhat Right to a point. I couldn't say if he's conservative-leaning Libertarian, Constitutionalist, straight-up Republican or what, though.

Maybe that's what this guy's brother is wrestling with, he may have leaned ambiguously and therefore the brother can't pin any specific affiliation down. He went with "no" here instead of "well, maybe X, in my opinion. Although, I have nothing but my gut to go on."

From the camera's position, given how small whatever the flash appears to be, only a small spot is gonna be aligned just right to reflect whatever the flashing light is. You're not necessarily gonna see it on adjacent windows. It's a similar effect to how you can only see a truck driver's face in his side mirrors from a certain spot, if you move side to side or up and down (assuming you could in your car) you would no longer see it because the reflection angle has changed.

The witness described two Hispanic people however as if they were a couple..

They were both ushered out for harassing people and making threats..

Which would seem to suggest that he wasn't a "lone" gunman..

Also, although InfoWars is reporting it, an FBI insider claims that they found Antifa literature in his room.

I don't see how he could have been operating in complete isolation..

His wife/girlfriend is Filipino. Not Hispanic. Big difference.

I am. He apparently gambled a lot. In Vegas. Of course, without knowing the status of his finances, or the significant financial transaction reported earlier, I can only speculate.

Just because someone gambles a lot doesn't necessarily mean they are bad with money or are in trouble though.

At the press conference a little while ago, the Sheriff said the shooter did shoot through the door at one point and hit a security guard in the leg.

I understand the woman to not be in the country, but occasionally, Filipinos have been mistaken for Hispanics. I've met a few people mistaken for being Chilean/Peruvian because people ascribe their Asian features to the S. American Asian diaspora communities.
Big difference yes, but it happens once in a while.

Never said it was.

But most people that gamble a lot don't take over a dozen guns and shoot up a concert from a hotel room, either; therefore, the money angle is highly probable, considering it was Vegas, in a place he apparently frequented.

Actually its entirely possible he did and then modified it to shoot full auto. He also had multiple weapons.

My vet buddies are saying M16, it comes ready to rock and roll as they told me. I still haven't seen the weapons descriptions in a report. I bet something like that. US military weapon.

A search of one of the shooters vehicles turned up
several pounds of Ammonium nitrate.

So he was planning well in advance.

ETA his vehicle in Vegas.

So after reading over the comments i've seen you all question if the shooter was Black or Muslim. Every mass shooting that has happened in America(excluding D.C. snipers) has been by deranged White Males. Why would you not question your own before placing blame elsewhere?

MSNBC reporting that according to law enforcement, he brought the weapons into the hotel in 10 suitcases. That probably means at least some of them were in a disassembled state, and no one would have seen them.

Not yet and that is because of the 2nd amendment. They are working it to have us 'voluntarily' give them up but ever since the Brits tried it in 1770's we decided that is not going to happen unless we are all, to a man, dead. It is a real hard sell when gun free zones keep producing mass murders.

Agreed.

He had a background in accounting. He understand numbers and risk and return.

From interviews of neighbors he had been gambling for a living for several years and doing well with it.

He played poker vs. other players and could gamble with 10k in a day.

So his odds were not outright against the house, but rather other players, if you are going to make a living, that would be the place to do it and the game to do it with. Make money off lessor players vs. house games which will always take your money the longer you play.
