Gordi, Yes I suppose finding a balance is key.

I actually got to read one story from the contest yesterday. I'll try to read more, but my mind is so scattered later and yesterday was the only day I had off since Mark got out of the hospital. I have been running around like an idiot and still so very tired and sore. I finally get to go to the bank tomorrow and get some groceries.

You are a peach Blue! You have been such a good friend to us! I got to hear from her twice today which was awesome! In all my misery of late, it was nice to be able to make such a dear sweet friend feel better and she helped me feel better too.

We all need each other so much right now. I have never in the history of The Shed, seen so many of us going through so much crap at the same time.

All I can say is...hold on and never surrender. Oh and...never fear the Elf is here and all the amazingly wonderful folks who make the Shed what it is. Thank you all for being who you are, for being here for each other, for being you!

I must concur with Night, there is much pain and suffering in our midst, but in the spirit of the Shed I have come to know we kindle a tiny light for each other as we wander about out days.

This evening I decided to get back on Facebook in hopes that it would make my life better in some way.
All this did was bring back memories of when I actually had a life and a family to be happy with before my wife died.

There were too many reminders of so many in her family that have passed away in the past 3-4 year. This was just more of realty taken away from me if that even makes any sense.

It is my hope that we not wander our restless byways forever, for they at dark, and filled with pain and confusion; but that we may find that little light that guides us Home, and into our hearts purpose and contentment.

Let us give thanks for the dark times; thanks that they shall pass, and thanks for the harsh truths they pass onto us. Or... I will, not trying to command anybodody or assume any authority...

Northern Finland was illuminated by a blazing fireball on Thursday night, which experts said was either a meteor or 'space trash'.

It looks cool. But i am glad i wasn't there to witness it with my own eyes. I would have freaked out. I rather be here at home, waiting for a friend to come here, eating sandwiches and having a few beers .
