Hey, go to ANY other country of your choice....with the intent to be there illegally......and you'll see just how fast they work to deport your pequeño culo blanco flaco right out of the country.....
Cry about a law being immoral. Cry about it all you want.
Just get back to me when you've been sent packing. Especially when you actually wanted to be there. Life sucks. Simple fact is, it is the law. It will be enforced when the appropriate agency decides to enforce it.
I'm not saying there should be a border free for all, just that our laws need to be enacted with an eye to both justice and mercy, control and compassion.

Unfortunately those things come with a price tag.
I was a case manager for years. One of the reasons I left was that my job changed from being a patient advocate to being the gatekeeper for the benefit of the hospital. Three days was considered an optimum stay, and my job was to get paying folk in the hospital and back out the door within that three day window, and definitely before the hospital started breaking even or losing money.
Toughest part of my job was watching American citizens being kicked into the street, sometimes by police escort, while illegal aliens where given the honeymoon suite because the hospital was either afraid of a lawsuit or because they could get reimbursement from the State or from the Federal Government for housing them.
Too often medical care is not about love and compassion. It is purely about dollars and cents. Usually, from the pockets of you and me, and rarely for our benefit.

This is known as the "two wrongs make it right" argument. Typically it is best answered with the "if your friends all jumped off a bridge, would you" rebuttal.
Here's a hanky for your bleeding heart.
EVERYONE
Farm workers are the key to the U.S. food system, and although our population relies on their labor to put food on the table, these workers lack basic rights, face exploitation and live in fear of reporting abuses.
...
This broken immigration system fails to recognize the people who work hard to put food on grocery store shelves, restaurants, and dinner tables across the country. Instead, they are marginalized and face abuse, detention, and deportation. If our broken immigration system isn’t fixed, farm workers will continue to be abused, our multi-billion dollar agricultural industry will lack a stable workforce, and the safety of the nation’s food supply will be in jeopardy.
Ultimately, we need a comprehensive overhaul of our immigration system in order to bring justice to farm workers. This means changing the current system while also preventing the further criminalization of immigrants.

My wife, first generation immigration who is not yet a citizen, says it's about time. She wants all illegals gone.
Bravo! I hope she has the decency to remove herself from the country and save the US taxpayers the much needed money!
