Yeah we need to go high up on the totem pool to the top.

To the White House?

Just beneath the White Establishment?

Well you know what they say, even the light at the end of the tunnel is white.

White people say that. They forget that 'white' light is a mix of all other colors.

Awww... I was hoping it would be a blacklight. Now that would be an afterlife I could get into!

The Universe is filled with light. We don't see it because we aren't moving at the speed of light. If you hold a flashlight in a dark room, you can see the source, and the reflected light from the wall across the room. But we can't see the beam between unless we block it with our hand or introduce dust or water vapor into the beam.

So the night sky appears dark but is actually filled with the light of trillions to the trillionth power of stars. We'll get to see that when we pass.

It will be wonnnderful.

They should have voted in a black mayor and did not. It was in another post. They can all show up and protest and rob liquor stores but to busy to vote?

The peaceful 'protesters' aren't the ones robbing and vandalizing. Thats a minority of people taking advantage of the distracted police, and or infiltrators hijacking the demonstration, turning it violent for the press so you can say, "they all rob".

And I am willing to bet a good portion of those vandals (they are not protesters to me if they only are there to vandalize and harass people) are not even local citizens. They come from all over the country (makes me wonder where they get the funding for all that travel to be honest) merely to join these protests in order to wreak havoc and destroy property.

Did I say they all rob? No. I said that is the outcome. I am aware there are peaceful protesters but they are greatly out numbered by those shouting to kill the police and take back our streets.

When the BLACK community decides it wants to confront the socialistic problem that has been created and stop blaming 'the man' and turn inward there will be change. Until then, the same cycle will continue. The Police do not create a 70% non participating father statistic. The Police do not make them sell drugs or steal. The man does not make them drop out of school. It is the lack of a family system and it is getting worse...and it is not just black people. White people are as bad if not worse in raising kids. Churches used to be the outreach in many communities and even that is lacking now. It is a very sad sad situation.

Also, if it is a minority, why are dozens of police injured and police vehicles destroyed and burned? Because it is a large out of control mob...

The ghetto does that.

The cops as ghetto prison guards.

If a man can't get decent enough employment to feed his wife and kids he turns to drink, leaves, gets arrested dies, whatever. The child is brought up in a broken home, tries to goto school but the gangs and drugs are right outside, the schools are substandard, the belly is empty, how can they learn?

After school the house is empty, mom works two jobs to pay rent. The only family is the street, the drugs, the gangs.

And you expect them to rise above all that? They might not be that strong. Add in police brutality, murder even...

The Getto...

Man, good song. Have not heard that in ages. That was as good 'cassette'. My point was that something needs to be done about those ghettos but it never happens. That was the only point I was making. Pouring money into infrastructure has not worked but pour it into more officers or social workersr. Shelf 2 F35's and we can fund 4-5 major cities. Presence. Then, when it is better on the the next place. South Central LA used to be a gang bangers delight and now the homes we saw in Boyz in the Hood go for 400-600k. Places can be turned around..it is about allowing it to happen that is the trouble. Current politicians in many cities and states are using the 'problems' for more funding that goes elsewhere. They create the ghettos. A lot of corruption from those who promise to help.

If I was black I would fear police to not because of interaction but from what I see in media, movies, songs and pop culture.

The money that goes into infrastructure in the hood is far less than needed, on purpose. Same with schools, policing, jobs.

But, theres a liquor store on every corner.

I'm really confused why people just do not get this.

They go on about how these people just don't want to help themselves etc. They really believe that ,I'm mean how stupid do you have to be to believe that people do not want to have nice safe peaceful and fruitful lives.

Its just like in the third world, I see the argument all the time, people saying those third world people just don't want to better themselves etc...Its very frustrating, especially when they start going on about how we need to go and bomb some more folk to remove the threat.

Basically the American Exceptionalist view of the world, fed by arrogance, a feeling of superiority, better than, stems from our conditioning.

The church (our god is the best) our way of life is better, our wealth and "civilization" , everywhere else needs our help to survive.

But thats just what we are taught all day. The people that write those school books, TV shows, Sermons, and News 'stories' know what they are telling us is all lies. The truth is immoral, covering up the greed and lust for power.

Damn control freaks...

That makes sense.

I like in the U.N thread how some people are saying that the general assembly were just too dumb to understand trump . I'm not sure the conditioning and disconnect could be any more blatant than that.

That is local politicians and zoning. There is a lot of money that goes in but somehow it is funneled somewhere else. That is why there needs to be checks/balances and term limits.

A man can't easily provide for his family, so he decides to provide even less by drinking or leaving? That doesn't seem logical.

Now couple the "not being able to provide for ones family" with "the government will give more money to my family if I leave" now that make a whole lot more sence.

This is on the same subject but a different town.

There is a little town in Southern Illinois called Cairo.

This was part of a African American uprising decades ago. I will save my own opinion and judgement. But if people are interested in what happens when we do not learn from the past, things like Cairo will happen everywhere.

If you have a moment just Google it and read a little. I am on a busted up phone and it is difficult.

It doesn't just have to be the African American population either. If people wish to make their area a better place then peace and meaningful deliberation has to occur.

Somehow...

Somehow, there are more blacks in jail than any other segment of population. Somehow, Blacks own less corporations than Whites.

Somehow, they aren't allowed to drive for NASCAR or play Hockey either.
