Bush doesn't run America. Money does.

The UN doesn't run the world. Power does.

What is power in this world???

Money.

Money money money.

Then again public opinion is pretty powerful too. But not as powerful as money. That is obvious when we observe our ignorance to the crimes of the Pakistani and Saudi Regimes. We make money off of those relationships, and to this date no public opinion has been able to rid us of that horrible connection.

However, this is about North Korea and the possibility of the government testing a nuke. So if you don't mind, I think we should get back to the subject.

by the time bush is elected again, someone, somewhere, will make sure that he's not around to invade anyone else.

You can't always buy public opinion dude. Money helps but if at the end of the day you don't spend it right, public opinion will kick your butt.

As for North Korea? She'll do whatever China lets her do.
She's the Chinese Home Insurance Policy.

Don't believe a word of that.

If China didn't want those nuclear weapons on her doorstep there is NO way she would let them be there in the first place.

The US might be the only "superpower" in the World but China isn't that far behind you. If at all. It's possible that she could even be on a level with the US. She's certainly got the manpower and the brains.

Don't EVER underestimate China. She was playing with fireworks thousands of years before your nation ever thought about the 4th of July.
Remember: If it looks weak, it's probably strong.

She's not your enemy though. She's just frightened of you.

Did anyone make any more of Katie's comment about the North Korean practice missile found in Alaska?

Was that a real event?

Launched from NK or a ship?

Why wasn't it intercepted?

Is it a "pre-planted" WMD justifying more US aggression, or is it something to really concern US citizens?

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U.S. intelligence officials now think North Korea is developing the technology to make nuclear warheads small enough to fit atop the country's growing arsenal of missiles, potentially putting Tokyo and U.S. troops based in Japan at risk, according to officials who have received the intelligence reports.

In the assessment, which they have shared with Japan, South Korea and other allies in recent weeks, CIA officials said that U.S. satellites have identified a sophisticated new nuclear testing site, called Youngdoktong.

At the site, equipment has been set up to test conventional explosives that, when detonated, could compress a plutonium core and set off a nuclear explosion. Some intelligence officials think the testing range is evidence that the country intends to manufacture much more sophisticated weapons that would be light enough to put onto its medium-and long-range missiles.

Q. Do North Korean intelligence gatherers share their reports of US nuclear weapon manufacturing and testing programs with any other countries, as the US shares its intelligence with allies?

If the answer is yes, then there might be an 'axis' of evil or anti-Americanism.

But I doubt it.

I am not happy for the US to proliferate any weapons of mass destruction.

They fall into the wrong hands too often, with fast buck profit motives.
