That's actually not what I said at all. For the 4th time, go back and re-read from the beginning and actually read what I said. Empty your mind, if there's anything there, and read to comprehend.

The thing I love about Chicago is that you can't trust either Democrats or Republicans or City Officials there. They are equal opportunity Bribe takes and cheats.

So lawsuits are proof of wrongdoing now? So Trump's guilty of everything he's ever been sued for?

Pfft.

Again, this is basic. The DNC doesn't run primary elections; that's State governments.

Let me know when you find some lawsuits alleging election fraud in the primaries.

I said they stole the nomination not the election....Reading comprehension is a thing you know.

Yeah, so are stealth edits. But okay.

How did "they" steal the nomination? At the Convention? Pfft. The rules for delegates have been the same since 2008.

You're still crying about "superdelegates"? LOL.

Pledged delegates totals: Clinton 2205; Sanders: 1846.

What kind math are you doing again?

Source

Actually I'm not crying at all. The guy I voted for won!! The republicans actually backed a winner, something the Dems could learn from. Not that they will of course. They wouldn't even give the people in their own party a fair shot....Crooked Hillary stole the nomination but couldn't steal the elections although she did try with all deceased voters and fake registered voters.

But hey you keep on with the keeping on over there in Alt Left land....see how it works out again for yall....

Dems....losing since 2016!!! actually way longer than that but I'm being nice

If you check, you'll find for example, that more folks also voted for Democrats in the Senate in 2016, yet, for some reason, Republicans won a majority of seats. In previous years, Democrats received more votes in both the House and Senate.

Thats primarily because in CA you had two Democrats running for the Same Senate, so There's 12.2 M of the Dems vote of 51.4 M vs Republicans 40.4M. Also there were more Dem Senate seats up for re-election.

So more Democrats voted for their candidate for President than Republicans, and for their candidates in the Senate as well?

Yeah, that's what I said.

Maybe some.

I'm a centrist, and the alt-right craziness is driving me to the left. This is a little rough as I live in a rural, isolated community that has been characterized by alt-right ideas for decades, waaaaayyyy before it was called alt-right. It's just getting worse and worse now. People are going nuts.

It seems that more people are moving toward "the middle" as well as asking themselves why there is never a Moderate option offered on the ballot.

We will see that change in the next few cycles, I hope.

The Primary System, if it isn't gamed, Cough cough, is filled with voters who are more Political and active and "Extreme" than the base of either party. People in the Middle get trounched in Primaries as Traitors to the Party.

Proud of your fellow Americans? Or just the 46% that voted for Mr. Trump.

You found a Wordpress blog at altleft.com. Here, for example is part of their response to Trump's stupid accusations about the so-called "alt-left" in Charlottesville ...

As many of you may well know, President Trump conducted a press conference earlier today in which he specifically made disparaging remarks about the AltLeft. Many of these statements were slanderous and well off the mark. No one that I know who is associated with the AltLeft (which by the way has existed for years) would ever support or engage in violence. As anti-alpha male anti-heroes, we don’t care for brodozers and machismo and people who eat chips loudly. We like our testosterone bound to SHBG, not left unchecked where it is free to bind to receptor sites willy nilly or converted into its more potent forms. I personally don’t even like to attack bugs. In fact, I once had a black widow spider web in my shower and continued to shower next to it for a year, leaving the web completely undisturbed.

Perhaps you'll show us someting from the "alt-left" website that you found that supports "Antifa" or "BLM" or terrorism, or ... you know ... anything that you and others accuse them of?

Go ahead. You found the blog ... point it out!

Merle Haggard? Dude.

It's just a big old political game that I don't want to be a part of.

That's a quote from Mr. Haggard. Here's another:

In a 2010 interview about President Obama, Haggard discussed the misinterpretations that he felt had been spread about POTUS. "It's really almost criminal what they do with our president," he said. "They call him all kinds of names all day long, saying he's doing certain things that he's not." Haggard met the Obamas on a trip to the White House to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Source

Also, sadly, Mr. Haggard didn't live to see Trump elected ... but he's pretty clear:

I don't think it much matters who the president is.

You don't think there was a Bias by the DNC towards Clinton? She Picked the former head of the DNC as VP and as soon as DWS was booted out, Hillary Gave her a Job and installed Donna Brazille as New DNC Chair?

No Collusion there......

I call myself a Moderate. I voted against Trump last election. I've voted against people in the last 3 or 4 elections.

What I find ludicrous about the "American right" as provided by the media in this country is that they promote absurd reality-denial, anti-science philosophy and just plain old lies.

The fact that I end up seeming to defend ANY politicians makes me ill.

Alt-left is a perfect term that succinctly describes an activist faction of the left wing who is out there protesting their own feelings. I prefer CTRL-Left myself, due to its authoritarian nature, but usage changes with the tides of time.

Ctrl-Left seemed much more explanatory and accurate.
And I bet you not a single one of them called themselves that.

Though perhaps one day it will get that bad. Imagine it...
"Yes I'm a Control Freak and I want to control everyone all the time! Why? Because I support Freedom and am here to Liberate you from the Nazis!"

We are almost there. Almost...

I think here's what's happening.

The two main parties Democrat and Republican are almost the same except for a couple of key words: Abortion, Climate Change, Healthcare, Gun Rights, Christian Values. But as far as what they really do, neither of them lower taxes, change immigration policy, or shrink government. Neither of them balance the Budget. They both spy on us, favor corporations over people, and are corrupt as hell.

People want change as you can see with Bernie Sanders support and Trump getting elected. They don't want the same old parties.

Progressive and the green party...will continue to grow. They aren't the enemy despite a few minor groups and movements like Antifa. The enemy is the two main parties.

They'll continue to bleed out and at some point we will reach a tipping point when real change will take place. Trump is just the tip of the iceberg.

I'd have to say yes.

It's not the alt-left it's just the regular left now. There isn't really an alt-left. Traditional leftism have been totally abandoned in favour of modern "progressiveism" focusing on racial and gender policy. As well as minority issues some of which have been completely fabricated to advance other agendas. In doing so the left has abandoned it's old working-class base.

This has been going on for a while. Just look at university campuses.

The left has also frequently, much like the Republicans, chosen to represent the corporate and banking interests, the military industrial complex and intelligence community over what it's voters actually wanted.

The result is a surge to the right which was demonstrated by Donald Trump's election victory, which he won thanks to poor-working class communities in your more traditional blue states. They voted for him over a lack of a left wing candidate who would actually represent their interests

Donald Trump hasn't done such a great job. I can only name two good things of his Presidency, ending TPP and stopping arms to Syrian terrorists. He hasn't particularly championed the cause of the poor working man, but during the campaign he was percieved to represent a rebellion against the traditional establishment positions of the two parties.

I'd actually suspect that the predominately poor working class who make up the nationalist-leaning "alt-right" were once democrats.

I think eventually they'll emerge an actual alt-left in America, which will represent a return to traditional leftism, abandonment of corporate interests, protection of the American worker over globalism, and an anti-interventionist foreign policy.

To an extent this already seen in your Bernie Sanders (Never a Democrat, always disliked the banks and the wars) your Tulsi Gabbards and your Jill Steins (a nutcase but better than nothing).

Admittedly the three above all adhere to the racially and gender motivated policies of modern progressiveism, particularly Sanders, but I think those are going to become increasingly unpopular and unattainable positions. The majority ethnic group doesn't like being told it's evil subhuman scum that should surrender what little it has to minority interests.

I hope Tulsi Gabbard runs for the Democratic nomination in 2020. It'd be interesting to see what the outcome would be.
