I think you’re right, and analyzed the situation correctly.

It may be that people are just convinced Trump is just not fit to be president and people are challenging him accordingly.

Of course the Trump supporters think its all a part of the conspiracy to get rid of him.

Personally, my conspiracy theory is similar to STARWARISREAL'S idea

Like Trump is just there to wreak havoc.

The difference is I think that this may all be organized and people who are speaking out against Trump who are close to him are just playing out a role here in the scheme…

This is like a fixed fight going on

I was considering a thread on this but you beat me to it. Tillerson is clearly not happy with Trump, that interview was a clear shot across the bow. You can count him as one more who is breaking away. He hasn't officially denounced him yet, but it's pretty clear what he meant.

In other news, Mattis came out against Trump too, telling the military to basically not worry about Trumps transgender ban, and that the military is basically going to do everything they can to reverse it once he's gone, if not sooner.

On the same day Mattis said that (Friday, I think it was), the members of Trumps cyber security board resigned. News came out that McConnel and Trump haven't spoken in weeks, and Paul Ryan condemned Trump over several issues... then again over the pardon yesterday.

Also, some news came out that Trump seems to be involved in obstruction of justice. On multiple occasions now he has gone to Sessions (who also spoke out against Trump this weekend), asking him to end cases against himself and Arpaio, as well as trying to get Mueller fired.

Trump is in some very deep doo doo right now, and it's coming at him from all sides.

The noose is tightening on Trump. I feel like the gears of impeachment are winding up. Unfortunately, as a moderate who hates most of Trump's policy positions, I think it's a mistake to impeach him.

For starters, Trump is like a frag grenade rolled into the GOP who is making it absolutely impossible for them to get ANYTHING done. I mean, the guy is walking, talking INEPTITUDE. Which means most of the crap he's going to do will be via executive order and will be easily undone by the next guy. Hell, he's even having a hard time getting several of his executive orders to stick... because incompetence.

I also think it's a mistake to deny the hardcore Trumpsters their day in the sun. I mean, to most American's it's like the long night of an insane man, but if you take away their guy (as ridiculous and unfit as he has proven himself to be), it will just motivate them to turn out in record numbers NEXT TIME.

I mean, seriously. Who will they vote into the Presidency next? Kid Rock? Barney the Dinosaur? I'd rather not know.

Well here is a scenario:

Trump was approached by strange men promising a huge payment for him and his family.

The strange men told him the catch is that he has to come to power and inflict as much damage. That means shouting obscenities, dividing the nation, making and breaking promises and be an incompetent leader. He is to also present himself as a non establishment person so that people will not trust non establishment figures.

Meanwhile the same men told the deep state and media to attack Trump to give the illusion he is against the system and for the people.

But it'll be a, "Mr. President, we'll kill you, if this ever gets out", . Moment. If I accidentally, became "President"? I'd be on 24hour "stand to"...all day and night! Them MotherFrs, will get me! But it'll cost them! And it will be "reported" as ..."President drove car off bridge". Lol!

Here's my theory, despite the fact it's really out there. Candidates who rock the boat i.e. Obama and his "Yes We Can" campaign and Trump's "Drain the Swamp" mantra, are sat down soon after they're elected. They are shown a video of the JFK assassination. They are told this will happen to them if they don't play the game the right way, the same as the last guy who rocked the boat between '60 and '63.

Why are they doing that?

I say, in order to bring the neocons back into some degree of respectability and the msm if possible

thanks for the bit of truth. And what Trump said about the media giving the KKK/WS what they wanted was spot on. It's what I have been saying. All those idiots want is attention. Take that away, they will go as well. Feed them and they will continue as long as the food is available.

Actually it's more like Trump was put in by the deep state in order for people to lose faith on non establishment figures and have average people vote only for their own.

Like Trump is just there to wreak havoc.

I am not discounting that either......It's obvious we are witnessing an American spring.

Yes and that worked out so well.

In the end, they got none of the above, with some countries like Egypt even witnessing an authoritarian counterrevolution led by the army.

Forb es

But now that Tunisia, Morocco, and Egypt have all gone to the polls in the fall of 2011, my optimism has been crushed and I fear for the rights of women in the Middle East. All three countries have begun to elect religious-dominated parties into their parliaments and there could be new restrictions imposed on women.

Forbes Again

There are a bunch of others sources, but you and most of ATS would blow them off as "fake news".

Trump is not interested in building America; not the way that everyone thinks. He is trying to tear it apart and rebuild it in his own image. You aren't going to like how that process goes.

Not.

One.

Bit.

But you and every other Trump supporter will blame everyone but Trump and yourselves for the misery.

And George H. W . Bush was photographed outside the Book Depository the day JFK was assassinated. They're all in cahoots.

Did your friend make his disagreement known on national television?

Of course not. But he probably would have given the chance.
And your point being ?
Pointless ?

My point being that Tillerson could have easily stayed on the Trump train and said some BS about Trump doing the right thing for America, but he instead chose to show his disapproval on national TV instead of simply addressing it with Trump privately, as your friend did with you.

Yes , but why ?
If you are asked a question directly , do you answer with the truth ? I do...
And I will call a friend out if I feel they are making a mistake. Or , I dont agree. Do you ? Or just keep your mouth shut and go on ? Sounds like the latter.
Again , your point ?
Or just an anti-Trumper looking for anything....?
Again , I feel the latter is the case.
Which a quick perusal of previous threads backs that up completely....

TILLERSON BREAKS WITH TRUMP, SAYS “THE PRESIDENT SPEAKS FOR HIMSELF,” NOT AMERICAN VALUES
The secretary of state seemed to pointedly separate himself from the president during a Sunday interview.

People! Get smart! Wake up to what they're doing to this president and his cabinet.

They grab at anything and everything... I would bet that Trump is enjoying the crap out of all this since he is in what he likes, and not curled up with his thumb in his mouth at night just waiting to get out of the WH. Even with departures they all say how great it was to work with him, and you never know the true reason for the departures...removal from his staff of expansion of his staff...

This thread isn't about you or I, so how much we lie is irrelevant. We're talking about politicians who lie all the time, especially to the people. Tillerson in this case chose to tell the hard truth rather than towing the Trump line.
