SILENCING ANYONE IS UNAMERICAN.

Right. Heather Heyer has been silenced. And the White Supremacists call it victory.

Interesting you didn't use my whole quote

I am glad to see opposition. Opposition to idiots is a great thing. Thing is people died so that idiots have rights just like everyone else. SILENCING ANYONE IS UNAMERICAN.

But that wouldn't move your agenda forward now would it?

Good luck with the whole shaming thing, but it only works on those insecure in their beliefs.

The counter-protesters did have permits. That was the basis for Kessler's lawsuit: the city revoked his permit but didn't revoke the permits they gave to the counter-protesters. Then the city tried to change his permitted venue, but didn't change the counter-protesters.

The city issued two permits for counter-protesters and one to Kessler's group.

Thanks for clarifying that and it sounds like pure incompetence on their part. I'm beginning to see a pattern though and it's pretty disturbing.

2) Debatable. The counter-protesters apparently had no permit.

I keep seeing this brought up by people on the Right. To be fair I don't know if it's true or not. The point that I want to bring up is the fact that I keep seeing people claim is that the Nazis First Amendment rights were violated. One of the reasons they mention for this claim is that the counter-protesters were not granted permission by the government to exercise their First Amendment rights.

Seriously!? Do they not see the hypocrisy in their reasoning?

How exactly are they a "clear and present danger to the american lifestyle"?

The Long List of Killings Committed by White Extremists Since the Oklahoma City Bombing

They are a minuscule portion of the usa population. They should be ignored like a child throwing a tantrum.

But they aren't children throwing a tantrum. They are people who call for the killing of Americans. Why are you defending them so vociferously? You can't ignore them can you.

I did watch the video. maybe you missed it but they showed Nazis sprayed in the face with pepper spray. I don't know what type of mental gymnastics are required to spin that, but you get a 10 for that dismount.

Mental gymnastics? You're a veritable Olympian with your absurd non sequiturs. A neo-Nazi was pepper sprayed, therefore "the Left" incited violence? Please, go ahead and explain how that's a logical deduction.

I'm well aware that you are the type to impede and obstruct a peaceful rally.

Oh? I never said that I would "impede and obstruct" either. Seems that reality isn't the sort of thing that will "impede and obstruct" your efforts to defend neo-Nazis.

They should have let the nazis have their little rally, but it looks like the counter-protesters couldn't help themselves and instigated and incited the political violence.

Sure they did people chanting for blood are always peaceful.

Because there isn't enough threads about Charlottesville yet. Lets have a few more. Why not

I mean it's not like THIS THREAD has the same video or anything.

Different forum if I placed it in the same forum then you would have a right to whine.

Words are not violence in any dimension.

Yes, pepper spraying someone in the face is violence. Circling people isn't. Square your circles all you want but maybe try a better example.

That depends on the situation. If a group of people have you surrounded and are threatening you, pepper spraying them to get away is just self defense which is very legal.

Funny you phrase or that way. Because it was the Nazis started the violence on Friday night and one of their weapons of choice was pepper spray.

Yeah i know morals and integrity flew right out of the window when they got the chance to justify violence against other groups. After all Nazis,WS and Trump supporters are now fair game in there mind.

Did you even watch the video? It clearly shows this Nazi thinks everyone that isn't white should be dead.

A lot of hate going on right now but surpisingly they come from the people who pretend to be loving, caring and peaceful. Must be opposite day.

So the fact that people staging a peaceful protest gets attacked and it's their side thats promoting hate. You're right it must be opposite day.

hey are people who call for the killing of Americans.

Devils advocate, didnt BLM do the same thing many times calling for the deaths of police officers? and wasnt that acted on SEVERAL times?

So wouldnt they be considered just as much of a threat?

I despise both the KKK and BLM groups equally.....

But it would be nice to see some consistency here.......

You claimed that the Left incited violence. Then as "proof" of this, you pointed to a pepper sprayed neo-Nazi. That's a non sequitur. When I point this out? You trot out a straw man? So weak and disingenuous. Just give it up, you're only digging a deeper hole and painting yourself into a corner which will only lead to you becoming increasingly intellectually dishonest.

Let me spell this out so that you won't be tempted to embarrass yourself with flimsy deflections.

You don't know the circumstances of that neo-Nazi being pepper sprayed. It is just as likely that he was attacking a person or threatening to do so and that's what led to his pepper spraying.

Now. If a woman is being attacked by a rapist and she pepper sprays him, is that "inciting violence" against the would be rapist? No. Is it violence? Yes. Is she the aggressor? No. She didn't incite anything. She responded to a threat of violence with violence in defense of her person.

Circling people with torches and screaming menacingly at them is in fact, threatening behavior.
