Charlottesville Driver Innocent?

Don't know how true it is, but rumor has it on twitter now that his mother called 911 repeatedly to report he was beating her up....doesn't sound like this guy is from Mr Rogers neighborhood if this is the true case.

The videos posted were to point to other views and situations. Again, I know thinking hurts your brain sometimes, but the more you practice, the easier it will get.

The guy would beat up his own mother. I guess he can't call his own mother to the witness chair as a character witness.

The guy had two full blocks to change his mind and turn down a side street where there were no crowds of people marching.

There's a video showing the car racing down the street for two blocks (where there were no crowds of people marching), flying by side streets (again, where there were no crowds of people marching), and continuing on at high speed until finally plowing into the crowd.

Then the driver slams the car into reverse, and again tromps on the gas fleeing the scene in reverse, far enough back (roughly another 2 blocks back again) to take off down a side street and make his escape.



Why would the driver be scared for his life when he was two blocks away where there were no crowds of people in the area where he originally tromped on the gas pedal to pick up speed ?

Eh, it's legitimate. We are only two days out from when it happened. Evidence is still being discovered and digested.

And, maybe the OP is hoping others have something to share.

Also, James Alex Fields isn't going to benefit from having done this. But others may. Motive takes it from being a 'gut feeling' to something legitimate. We have yet to see who benefits most.

You mentioned the white polo shirt he is wearing in the car. Have you not found it odd he is wearing a black and white shirt in his mugshot?

I think mugshots are taking pretty soon after you come in as part of the booking session. Before you are given prison cloths I think, but may be wrong

Not amazing or shocking. We all have noticed the wave of sympathizers.

considering that he really wasn't surrounded by a mob when be first began to speed up..
considering that the group of people in the road were in plain sight when he first began to speed up.
considering this is one of the main streets of the down town area so there more than likely a speed limit of only 30 mph or so...
and considering the damage of the car he plowed into and the distance the front car was pushed forward from his impact...

So? Who says he did this to gain any sort of tangible benefit? Haters usually don't need a reason to do what they do. What's really baffling to me is why it is so hard for some people to accept that a Nazi did a Nazi-like action. Why do all the conservatives on ATS want to so DESPERATELY label him innocent?
