Which is my point.
This whole story is a non story.
I
The fbi is doing the investigation. Like I keep saying. The LAST thing the investigators want is to disclose an investigation prematurely.
The fbi is already currently investigating the elections in general. Very deeply.
Time will tell just how big the story becomes.
This is opening the door to a much larger investigation scope and there is already a movement for a special counsel....my guess is Mueller will be appointed over it all.

It appears FusionGPS was working on Russia's behalf to get the Maginitsky act repealed.
Has little to nothing to do with people around Trump having contacts with Russians.
The "narrative" is not falling apart. The narrative is true.
To what extent people were involved and for what purposes remains to be seen.

Not only that, they were employed by Russian govt officials to smear people to further Russian aims.
Fusion GPS were also undeclared as a Russian agent.
That means... drum roll... the never Trump movement and the Hillary Clinton campaign PAID secret Russian agents to carry out opposition research on a political opponent in the US. The first evidence of collusion is now here and it's Trump's enemies who were colluding with Russian agents.

Whoa, wait a minute.
So you are saying it appears that the organization that produced the dossier that many in the media and ATS still to this day defend as damning toward Trump, and that was at least part of the impetus to begin starting to look at Russia trump collusion was in fact paid for by the Russians?
And the democrats and some never trump republicans took this paid propaganda from the russians and spread it, and yet somehow this doesn't hurt "the narrative" and the narrative is true?
Wow.
If this is true that Fusion GPS was paid to push this dossier by the Russians, at best for the democrats it proves that the russians were trying to hurt both candidates, which means either that all the energy that is put into investigating trump for collusion should be equally applied to the DNC, republican never trumpers and hillarys people that used this dossier.
At worst, it proves the only people colluding with Russia were the anti trumpers.
Either way, for you to claim the narrative is true is ridiculous. I thought you were waiting for the results of investigations to make up your mind? Yet now with this contradictory evidence coming to light, you somehow know the narrative is true.

It hasn't even started yet.
First there are still ongoing investigations into the clinton foundation.
But if and when this investigation starts, you will not chime in right?
I mean, as you say, it will end when it ends.

All of the collusion bluster from the never trump people may be about to blow up in their face.

# no. I'm going to do EXACTLY what y'all have been doing with the Trump investigation. Even if I'm insincere about it. Y'all don't deserve that respect.

I think Bill Browder has testified, or is prepared to testify, that FusionGPS was hired by Russians to conduct a smear campaign in the US, in order to prepare for a potential repeal of an Act that imposed sanctions on Russia.
And I have not seen very many defending that dossier. We simply don't know if any of it is true.
And the democrats and some never trump republicans took this paid propaganda from the russians and spread it, and yet somehow this doesn't hurt "the narrative" and the narrative is true?
The narrative that Trump's team had connections to Russians is entirely true. Any other narrative, I don't know.
I did not say FusionGPS was paid by the Russians to push the dossier. Perhaps you should read what I posted again.
Either way, for you to claim the narrative is true is ridiculous. I thought you were waiting for the results of investigations to make up your mind? Yet now with this contradictory evidence coming to light, you somehow know the narrative is true.
People on Trump's team admit to having contact with the Russians. That is entirely true. That is the narrative I was speaking about. If the member I responded to meant some other Russia narrative, he should have been more specific.

The revelation, or at least the testimony, is that FusionGPS are a Russian agent (undeclared) and have worked for Russia on more than the Magnitsky Act. Their job for Russia has been to smear people.
It leaves the credibility of the dossier in tatters and provides evidence that the collusion with Russian agents was actually carried out, but not by the Trump campaign, but buy never Trumpers and the Clinton campaign.
You can be sure that this will be part of the investigation in the House Judiciary Committee.
