The fbi is doing the investigation. Like I keep saying. The LAST thing the investigators want is to disclose an investigation prematurely.

The fbi is already currently investigating the elections in general. Very deeply.

Time will tell just how big the story becomes.

This is opening the door to a much larger investigation scope and there is already a movement for a special counsel....my guess is Mueller will be appointed over it all.

I think you over estimate what the comitee can do verse an actual investigation which is already happening with the fbi.

All this does is change the judiciary committee agenda and they are going to get some documents from comey. It does not change terms entire fbi counter intel, the special council, or any other intel committee investigations.

Right now this is a complete non story and total speculation.

Also the judiciary committe can only do so much. I like gowdy but this is a nothing event IMO.

I could list how many times this stuff turns out to be nothing but it would take a lot of space.

This is what so many people have been waiting for. Dems can spin all they want. The spotlight is turning on them.

We don't know if the Russians paid FusionGPS for the dossier but here is what has been testified to:

Fusion GPS are an undeclared agent of the Russian govt.
They have a history of creating smear campaigns against political opponents of Russia
The Hillary Clinton campaign and never Trumpers colluded with this agent of the Russian govt to carry out opposition research on the Trump campaign.
FusionGPS are stone walling all investigations and either refusing to testify or taking the 5th.

But yeah... some will cling on to their dossier for all they are worth because they are so invested in it. They would look utterly ridiculous if they backed down now.

The revelation, or at least the testimony, is that FusionGPS are a Russian agent (undeclared) and have worked for Russia on more than the Magnitsky Act. Their job for Russia has been to smear people.

It leaves the credibility of the dossier in tatters and provides evidence that the collusion with Russian agents was actually carried out, but not by the Trump campaign, but buy never Trumpers and the Clinton campaign.

You can be sure that this will be part of the investigation in the House Judiciary Committee.

I havent seen any evidence that the investigation into the clinton foundation closed. Can you provide it?

And who has helped the Russians out more than anyone for a while, supplied them US Uranium, handed them the "reset button" , had their ex POTUS husband give speeches for them, and had plenty of donations to their foundation?
