HA!

REALLY? Nugent spends his entire adult life pouring fossil fuels on a tyre fire, and just because he takes a step back after poisoning the intellects of millions of people, for decades, that is supposed to mean something? He is taking a step back because not only are others doing his work for him these days, but its already done. You have a corporatist, inhuman bag of waste for a President, hate is the new love. His work is done, that is why he is backing away. The moment someone comes along and turns the world the right way up again, he will be right back.

Hilarious!

You criticize Nugent for his rhetoric in the past (which I am with you) and then proceed to spew hatred yourself. Lets not forget your post on page one illustrating how other republicans would have been more deserving of having been shot.

Perhaps look in the mirror before you criticize others rhetoric.

a reply to: shawmanfromny>... Many believe that President Trump saved Scalise's life by going to that hospital( Medstar) and making it clear he was going to recover. Too bad he wasn't there to do the same for Seth Rich. The gunman died too quickly. And conveniently. The swamp is a dangerous place, but once drained it can become fertile farmland.

Same claim you make regarding Nugent can be turned around and pointed squarely at the far left.

Who amongst the far left has repudiated the rhetoric and promised to halt it?

I could argue that were you a leftist celeb it'd not be repudiated but rather embrasure and magnification of the rhetoric because it was seemingly successful.

The anger dripping response to Nugents announcement and claim of an upside-down state of affairs is indicative of just how difficult stepping back from precipice is for many so deeply indoctrinated and steeped in leftist ideology will be to accomplish.

It's sad and deserves to be ostracized by public at large.

really hate to add fuel to a raging fire, but...
has anyone brought this story up??

www.cnn.com...

hopefully the white powder is just baby powder or something....
and I still don't buy the idea that your average dem is any worse that your average conservative in this, or that left leaning media is worse the the right has been in the past.... or that they have a mental disease....
but well... while I can buy that one crazed loon went off and targeted some republicans on a baseball field and shot some people (by the way, I think that anyone who can go on a shooting spree shooting at people that they don't know are a little crazy...)

to have someone else then start sending our threats with mysterious white powder thru the mail a few days later....
uh, uh.... there's something else going on...

The document in the package sent to FOX 5 threatened violence and also read in part: "America's terrorist soldiers are raping and killing innocent Muslims by the thousands. Republicans are literally ushering in the apocalypse by ignoring the impending climate disaster."

I am sad to say that there will be far more than one nut, and on both sides.

Unfortunately, this thread shows how many of these nuts feel justified in their violence. If you truly believe that your political opponents are trying to murder 24 million people by removing health care, its easy to justify using violence to stop that.

But I again stress, I DO NOT think that this is indicative of most people on the left or right. I do not blame the rhetoric on this crazy people; its their fault alone.

This doesn't mean we can't focus on a criticize hateful rhetoric, but no censorship.

I hope that incidents like these can drive civil debates and discussions, but I am not hopeful that things will change any time soon.

well, I suppose we could look at it the other way...
the healthcare system is trying to kill off 24 million people and the republicans are just trying to save us from their dangerous prescription drugs....

but neither the powers that be, or the republicans, or the dems will tell us that and refer us to a gov't website filled with the old time home remedies, will they....

This is why that wacko went out and attempted to assassinate Republicans, because of the fearmongering nonsense gullible idiots like you spread because you lack the ability to think for yourself. The new healthcare bill isn't gonna kill 24 million people. Get off Rachel Maddow's tit and take a look around the real world.

Do you have a link or source to prove the CBO report is wrong?

Can we stop with the 24 million?

In 2010, 30 million lost their insurance when Obamacare was put in place and no one started shooting politicians.

Jesus!

Have you read the CBO report? It doesn't say anything about anyone dying. It also says about half the people who "lose" health insurance will voluntarily drop it because the only reason they have it now is they're being forced to buy it by the government or face a fine. It doesn't identify the others as people who are critically ill that will die without healthcare. And there's no way to be sure if their projections are even accurate because A) the bill isn't finished and B) the CBO is notoriously bad about predicting the numbers of insured. Even CNN admitted the CBO projections for Obamacare enrollment numbers were off by more than 50%.

Just to clarify;

are you suggesting that a policy that would remove someone health care is the equivalent of murder or killing that person?

I would like to see if millions of people will not lose access to healthcare by seeing the new plan. All ya'll speak like you have the authority to know, so show me.

The new plan isn't finished yet. Are you even following this or do you just believe whatever you're hearing on Twitter or something? The Senate is currently working on their version, then the Senate and House versions have to be reconciled. Then the final version has to be voted on by the Senate and again by the House since it will have changed from what they passed before. Then the President has to sign it.

It's far from done.

And are you gonna acknowledge anything I said in my previous post or just pretend none of that is true?

Why lump me in with that? I have said nothing about the new plan.

Why so hesitant to answer my question?

I will ask again;

are you suggesting that a policy that would remove someone health care is the equivalent of murder or killing that person?

So there it is.

Justification for mass murder because an entitlement program may be cut.

I didn't raise up the 24 million, Gambler did...
I gave you my honest opnion of the healthcare system...
heck, the republicans might be saving the life of 24 million!!!
and tell me, do you think that the gov't and the american citizen, if the gov't would encourage and assist the citizens learn about those home and natural remedies along better information when it comes to nutrition, what vitamins and minerals assist in curing some diseases, while others serve to just make diseases worse?
but no, no matter how often I've come on here and spoke out against obamacare, I'm the enemy because I speak out against taking money from sick workers who are unable to take advantage of the current healthcare system just to turn it around to give it to others to provide them with their healthcare... I say it's unconstitution!!!
but continue on with your bull....

and I've never heard Rachel Maddow say that 24 million would die.... just that it's possible that 24 million would lose their health insurance.... ya some might die.... and then some might just live longer without the danged healthcare!!

but just how are the republicans reassuring the people when they hide behind closed doors trying to keep the plan secrets as long as possible?? and they are so successful that you have senators asking nbc that if they get a copy of it leaked to them, could they please send his office a copy???

"I think it's being written, uh, by someone somewhere but I'm not aware of who or where," Sen. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky, deadpanned to NBC News. "If you get a copy of it, will you send me a copy?"

www.nbcnews.com...

my stand has always been that they should either make a move to try to ensure that healthcare is affordable for all, or pull the gov't funds from the healthcare industry and let the people have their money, for some it might be a difference between being able to buy that prescription they need to live or not.

Your unwillingness to answer the question speaks volumes.

I hope you take a careful look at your ideology and understand that you are an extremist that justifies the murder of political opponents based in their policy positions.

You are among several others on this very thread to do so.

I am shocked at how prevalent this extremism is present even here on ATS. This does not bode well for the hope that we will not see more political terrorism in the future.
