This thread is just great.

The same people who said that there was zero chance of elections being rigged when they thought Hillary would win AND zero chance of any voter fraud when Trump announced he was going to investigate it... now decide that election tampering is possible after all and based on a leaked document, redacted and not very much different from the Grizzly Steppe details, are calling for a re-election.

Brilliant.

What Obama "said" is irrelevant here.

Nice try.

Please explain why Obama saying there is "no evidence" of election rigging...is irrelevant.

Isn't this supposed to be evidence?

It's irrelevant because he was wrong.

And he had access to all the top secret info at the time. I wonder what else he was wrong about?

He was wrong about a lot of things. And he has admitted to being wrong about a lot of things. I'm not exactly sure how that matters to this discussion.

The matter at hand makes it look more likely the collusion was between Clinton and the ruskies to whom she has been very favorable in the past. What gave her the idea to blame all this on Russian collusion anyway...Wasn't it her campaign that started that whole narrative. Sounds like she was drawing on experience to me...

How's that for some OT speculation =P

Name them please. I would like to see who here in this thread that has posted so far, has made claim that the election cant be rigged.

Perhaps this report came out after he left the presidency.

No. You want it to look like it's more likely Clinton colluded, based on mere speculation.

That takes the blame off of other players that may be involved.

I'd rather not play that game.

This whole thing now gives credence to the article last week about the chief admiral of the NSA saying he has proof of Russian intereference and proof of collusion.

Its funny..

Now that the "fake news" isnt fake.. theres a handful of Trump supporters in here saying... "well.... whos fault is it? Wasnt OBAMA the president?!?!"

No the person whos fault it is is the person who ordered the hacking

Bullshjt.

Trump is directly responsible for the loss in confidence in our intelligence community.
The same way he's responsible for the loss in confidence in the media.
Whether he's saying the former FBI director is a nut job or calling every news organization purveyors of fake news he has poisoned the minds of many Americans.

Yup, and then we have the people on the other side of the isle, as well, who said Russia didn't hack anything, nothing to see here (because it's all fake news), are now proved embarrassingly wrong.

Nice troll attempt.

Lol, what???

This is the SAME information as produced in the Grizzly Steppe document. If this IS part of a so called 'classified' version of that document, it's even more embarrassing for the US intelligence services. We certainly don't need the NSA to tell us about spearfishing.

Would you mind pointing to the evidence please - there is none in either the redacted document segments or the article you linked.

I guess this latest revelation will the delay our ability to vote online? Was looking forward to not standing in a long line in 2018 and 2020. Maybe voting online would be more secure, if the same security measures that banks use for transactions were implemented.

Good point. There may be some good to come out of this.

Don't know if you recall about the large server Brennen and Clapper hooked up that broke into Citi bank
ATS thread

In addition to the info in the article, the tapes say Brennen? Or Clapper? Requested Montgomery hack Florida voter registration records. He did and gave the info over. Two weeks later he was given a fresh disk (by one of the two) to re upload to the voter registration site.

Banks were also broken into with passwords accessed. The first was Citibank.

Justice Roberts was hacked as well as Fisa judges along with 156 other judges.

So If we can get in we should know how to protect. Course this system was under the radar so they may not have wanted the other to know

Up until just a bit ago today, there was no proof of anything Russia did besides bathroom rumors. So while you all bask in the glory of finding our you were right in your hopes, this still doesn't shut the door on the part of this most are basing the claims on, which is the Wikileaks released data. I said in the beginning, if Russia didn't hack us, I'd be surprised. But I'm just one guy, not speaking for anyone else.

Trump is directly responsible for the loss in confidence in our intelligence community.

That is entirely correct.

It was Trump that has cast much doubt on our intel community and even fired a man that was willing to be open and honest in doing his job, regardless of what it meant to the Democrats or Republicans during a presidential election.
