So hold up, questioning things is "defiling" science? Isn't the very spirit of science based on questioning EVERYTHING and ANYTHING? I am sure that if real scientists stopped questioning things we would make tons of progress. Sounds like an incredible plan!

In my experience, people that run with the science mantra treat it as if it is just another religion. You sound as bad as the bible thumpers. Maybe we should create blasphemy laws like Bill Nye wants. Lock anyone up that doesn't go with the popular belief. Sounds like Saudi Arabia!!

Often times it is the person that holds the minority opinion that makes breakthroughs in this world.

To be honest, that does happen a lot though. It's like the catch all to explain away something that either can't be explained, or can not be refuted during a debate.

However to be fair, governments having advanced tech that's not know is a thing. The Hubble Space Telescope is a great example of that.

When Hubble was put up, it was done so that we could use telescopes outside of the Earth's atmosphere so we can see things in space better.

The irony is: The DOD already had something at that time that would negate the effect of the Earth's atmosphere. Adaptive Optics or AO. It had been developed in order to track Soviet Satellites.

So there are some good examples of government tech being more advanced, but in each case, we're talking about a few years or so more advanced. Not decades or hundreds of years.

Many people on here have a tendency to use that, only the tech they are thinking of falls in that decades to hundreds of years bracket.

So it becomes a catch all to try and circumnavigate around certain explanations.

Fortunately, most intelligent thinking people know that when they see that posted, it simply means the poster has no idea or can't explain it away.

Being in a chosen field for 25 years doesn't mean you are automatically good at it. It also doesn't mean you have the unlimited funds and technology of the government. As a matter of fact, when I run into someone with 25 years of experience in my field, I can typically expect someone that is stuck in the stone age yet still thinks they know it all. Sounds familiar.

Just because YOU personally are not familiar with the technology that would be used to pull something off like this, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. I guess that is similar to the air comment you made earlier in the thread. Do you really think that the private sector has technology equal to that of the United States government???

I guess I should expect this type of response. The majority of people in this world have narrow worldviews that have been grossly limited due to the years upon years of propaganda spewing out of the government entertainment complex. You act as if you have been on the ISS yourself, orbiting the earth and doing science experiments.

Go outside and look. Or is that too much like work?

All you need is a pair of binoculars and the schedule of the ISS.

There is an entire group - and not a small one - of people all over the world that take pictures of the ISS passing overhead. With equipment no more sophisticated than what you can buy at Walmart regular people from all over the planet have done so.

Middle School classes do it pretty regularly here.

The augmented virtual reality fails show that NASA is lying to us. To what extent, I don't know. But for me, trust is earned, and they certainly haven't earned it.

I compare people against the EndOfDays guy who posts photos of clouds as his evidence of a planet system about to crash into earth as a threshold.

He posts photos of clouds at least as his evidence and backs his claims up at the very least, you and other people like you just post rambling theories about past events to try and support your "EVERYTHING IS FAKE AND A HOAX".

When we point out your nonsense and present our proof against your crappy theory, we are then presented with "YOU'RE WRONG *INSULT* *INSULT*, THOSE PHOTOS FAKED BY NASA AND SEVERAL MILLION PEOPLE, GLOBAL CONSPIRACY, THREATEN FAMILY"

What about the general public who takes photos or looks through binoculars? "SHILLS, NASA AGENTS, THEY'RE BALLOONS FLOATING AROUND LIKE A JET YOU SEE"

Ahh the flat football field scam is not a scam. When I watch the football on my telly, I can't pick up ANY of the player and toss them away... plus my flatscreen PROVES it football fields are flat.

Sadly, you don't seem able to yet grasp the basic stuff. Nothing shrinks the further away it gets. All the people in those planes would get crushed to pulp if they did.

The fact is NASSA has never responded to the cock ups. They cant , if it was just one photograph with the cross hairs behind the scene, that was obviously faked.in any court of law the prosecution would hold all the others in deep skepticism.

I think the thing that really makes me scratch my head on threads like this (IE NASA faked X), is how much awesome power that NASA somehow has......and yet are so incompetent that Joe Smith at home is able to make a YouTube video and is suppose to completely expose it all.

Think about it: According to threads like this, NASA controls all the other space agencies (including the ones that belonged to countries that have at one time or another been like a mortal enemy to the US).

NASA controls all of space.

NASA controls all the astronomers around the world. All of them.

NASA controls all the amature astronomers (hundreds of millions of us) around the entire world.

NASA has super technology that allows them to fake everything -.......and yet if they had tech that good, why not just do the thing for real?

NASA is some how able to control everyone. Not one death bed confession! Absolute control! -.....and yet are SO STUPID that they leave all sorts of clues, idiotic mistakes, and are so sloppy that your average conspiracy guy can sniff it out, has it all figured out, and can prove it....all in that YouTube video (that they made to spread the truth....not for monetary gain or ad revenue of course, they'd never, ever do that!).

So apparently NASA is super awesome with god like powers to control everyone (or because it's the super elite/NWO/PTB/Shadow Gov.....another great excuse given)....but at the same time they are so stupid that the leave all sorts of clues and evidence behind for people find.

Not sure if most of you have noticed over the decades, but whenever a government tries to do some super complex things.....it has a tendency to get all screwed up, messed up, breaks down, and just doesn't work.

That's like the threads on the Super Secret Space Navy. Don't get me wrong, the idea is pretty cool (and being ex-Navy I sure wish I'd known about it!). But considering what a massive undertaking that would be, and the technology involved........yet it still took us how long to find Osama bin Laden?

I digress.....

The point is: There is no way NASA could be that all powerful......and yet be all that stupid at the same time.

But: there are plenty of YouTube videos out there that will say it's true......and since it's on the internet it must be true!

I really wish more people would spend less time watching YouTube videos and more time at the eyepiece of a telescope, with cameras taking pictures of the night sky, and spending more time reading books so that they can learn a lot more about the subject that they are claiming is fake.

Questioning something means being prepared to accept the answer. You have already decided you know what the answer is and are not prepared to listen to other ones that make more (ie actual) sense.

I watched the ISS fly over the music festival I attended last weekend two nights in a row. Beautiful sight.
