I like "it from a bit" and if I wouldn't be so lazy I could show you in the other cafe somewhere I said it first. A year ago. But since neither of us is going to claim copyrights it doesn't matter.

But another thing I thought was my idea I found in an old kabbalah video.


The entire universe, humans descended through five (I don't know why they got five, but some that's for sure) "dimensions" (degree of spiritual freedom, or devolution) and our world is the "limited access area". Why am I telling you that? I don't know, I guess to show meta-science trumps geek. I had it first...

A great mind once said, “Everybody pair up in threes!” A crystal structure of basically a high temperature superconductor, is put under pressure when cooled (wonder what they were trying to accomplish, eh?) towards absolute zero. When at a certain pressure, the entangled electrons which were already paired up, then entangled their magnetic spins which happened to use two pairs of entangled electrons basically making 4 entangled electrons called a plaquette singlet. This has never been seen before!

I'll give you meta-science! I remember it.

So why 5? Maybe because 2 and 3 are needed to manifest the material world. 6. Hexagons. After 2 and 3, the next prime is 5. There should be something magical about 30 (2*3*5) but everybody gets hung up on 33. Seems universe is compact and does not just throw things out without meaning.

As far as meta-geek goes... Café #1 had instances of me reading quantum mechanics and the "real world" tossing things out there at the same time I was considering it. Which is why I wrote Her a poem!

Sorry. Been cleaning up my work as I shall be out of here to enjoy a 4-day weekend!

I hopped on the arXiv (general math) to have a look and nearly peed my pants! The one thing I said I have figured out has a paper on it too! I took a look and it is way over complicated. Same with the other one. Phew! Almost got taken out by Joe Telephone inventor! Hehe. But that was the spark that made go and download LaTex pdf so I can look at it when I want to. It is the Wiki in pdf form! Started on my paper.

You can lash out! I'm a big boy and not a snowflake. Fever or no fever. Like I said, grew up in a house full of women. I tend to be more helpful than anything else.

I'll have to look at your vid a bit later. Probably get bored with TV at some point and hop on ATS to see if the middle aged old guys are arguing about the prez still! LOL. You would think that spilling all those electrons in the Mud Pit they would come to their senses.

I have already told you about my most favourite shop in the world? Today they rekindled my faith in humanity. I had a little exchange with their customer support asking why there's no shipping available with package tracking and they said they are not offering that, period. But today they just did it. So beautiful I love them. Deeply. I didn't even comment that I want it on my order or anything, didn't expect it at all, but just got the email it's underway from the carrier. It's such a nice bunch.

Cool shop!! They blocked me after two questions..

Ah well. I know people that do things that are not smiled upon by The Man. It is mushroom season now (not just the fun ones... love oyster mushrooms), the fun ones grow wild. I don't get why a fungus is illegal but there you go.

McKenna is awesome! I love people who think outside the box! The I Ching-Timewave Zero is one of those ideas. He got me wondering about 2112. I still think something happened.

I've already written my paper just need it in the LaTex format. The things it touches are not well known by me but hey, a cool million is still pretty good!

Just up watching F1 and the weather there is as bad here--raining. The beer is nice and cold! I will probably crawl back into bed and sleep until the crack of noon!!

Dare to think and things. The Timewave Zero was a fail but I also have the strong feeling it was just because of insufficient data. Wouldn't it be freaking awesome if it turns out that he was kind of right and we are nearing the meltdown point now "only" 5 years late? I wish for this world to end (kind of) and a new smarter, lovelier, more honest and caring one to emerge from the ashes one where al humans finally start collaborating...
I didn't click the vid tbh I felt it was an obvious balloon from the description.

So you like watchung things running in circles, that's kind of lame- all the wasted resources and stuff, well enjoy it while it still exists.

We had solved P vs. NP, but actually decided that the money wasn't worth the requirements and effort. Which, since it is a million, should say something or another

Be very wary about it TEOT, if you are actually on to something, the rules leave A LOT (like, an absurd amount) of wiggle room for CMI. It can also get a bit strange if you are planning to use your work in a proprietary framework, rather than just some math work.

He's better than me. This is crazy, right?

What if the story is something like: people live in other states of existence. We do not know what they are, but there is some acting entity.
Maybe it has something to do with dark matter and energy as why shouldn't it be populated too, at least once. A parallel world and they use the black Knight satellite to keep an eye on us.
Everything else would be speculation. That is already speculation in a way. But if I may add, Vallée got into the UFO stuff because of a retrograde satellite he witnessed while working for NASA.
That black satellite too, all falls under this category to me.
Imagine there's a wave of ghosts sightings and orbs and what not. Something is trying to kill us, that's obvious. Not?

I don't know about killing us but there are things we cannot see in this universe spying on us.

I've been sick the last couple days. Sleeping at weird times. Last night, I popped awake at 2 am. Hacking up fur balls, blowing my nose, and sweaty,... gross stuff. Anyway, totally quiet. Around 4:45 am the poor bastid that is assigned to watching me goes off shift or something. I've heard his watch alarm sound. This time I hear a hatch close. I have no furniture that latches. Something also brushed up against the banjo. I know the sound it makes. I have not played in a couple days on account of sickness. I think one of them has a pet mouse because I definitely heard a squeak. This is not the only time either. Last time I ripped up my room thinking I had a visitor only to find nothing.

I believe they are partially shifted out of phase with our universe. Why they are watching is speculation. Maybe they have seen the future and want documentation of the now? Maybe I'm going around the bend. What a neat idea: the universe next door. Kind of a huge bird blind to hide in plain sight. Best reality TV show ever! Or worst job assignment ever. Watching TEOT scratch himself and fart for four hours! Like I said, poor bastid! I would be bored silly. Maybe run around with a remote controlled robot just to mess with me.

But it is not every night. Weird, huh?

Black Knight can move about on its own (it does not stay in one orbit). NASA knows about it. We've had five or six communications from it. Met a retired engineer (hehe, 'meta') who says it is real as are greys. They spy on you if they think you are worthy of their attention (or if they can use you for their causes). I think they want us to figure this out for ourselves. I think they feel we are too violent of a species. That is why all the doom porn visions they show you.

What does it all mean?? Who knows! I'm about as confused about the whole thing now as I was when I started! What a long, crazy trip it has been!

ETA: No not smarter than a chimp. But I used to be able to solve a Rubick's cube in about 12 seconds! That might count for something...

Which part?

True! I could do a Rubick's cube pretty quick. I can't even solve one now (which is why I think a chimp may be smarter). I pushed out a bunch of stuff to learn more stuff. I even un-learned how to play guitar! I had some sloppy habits that needed to go away. A broken thumb later and all the sloppy stuff is gone as are all the same scale patterns I would always play. Now it is more about making a sound rather than the right notes. Probably explains why most of my guitars are all tuned differently!

Told you... not on the top of my game.

Yeah, it was a chance encounter. I walked into a bar I hadn't visited in over a year. Sat down next to an old guy and his son (close to my age) and the guy just started talking. He worked on satellites and that kind of stuff for [not added]. He mentioned that he has awoken with 3 greys at the foot of his bed when he was deeply involved with the work. As he and his son finished their beer he mentioned the Black Knight asking me if I have ever heard of it! I was like, "Yeah! Polar orbit and a retrograde one then it moved to lunar distances..." He said, "We've had 5... or 6 transmissions from it. Last was in 1986. They [NASA] are keeping a lid on it. Hey, it was really fun talking with you! I'm glad I did not have to explain all this stuff. *shakes hand* Remember, they are real. Have a good night!"

Honestly, he could have been having one over on me. I'll admit that. But he was just relating stories from when he worked in the field and his encounters. He did not exaggerate or brag. Even said he doesn't talk with his son about it. I'm decent when in person judging people and he did no strike me as anything other than what he said.

I always get people to confess to me. Lots of, "I've never told anybody else this..." From childhood trauma to sightings to abductions stories, I've heard a lot of different things.

Like the other Black Knight transmissions. A code that was translated to ASCII (IIRC) using the same encoding method. I did not get specifics so can only speculate. Makes you wonder what an AI satellite would have to say to the people taking their first steps into space, huh?

The thing about the Black Knight that gets me was the subsequent story of VALIS by Phillip K. Dick. They feel similar in ways.

I was sick over holiday.

Half my time was spent on the couch being sick. The other day, no real symptoms except the lack of sleep. I was not contagious. Last night, slept for 6 hours, woke up, went to the bathroom, then back to bed for another 4!! Now I just have a runny nose at times.

Unlike other uncouth people I work with, I have no problem staying home when sick!

A plague would be a godsend! Or, giant asteroid-meteor thingy. I suppose on a long enough timeline the survival rate for everybody drops to zero.
