I tend to have nicknames for everyone.

For now blue jr. will likely work, but if we get any more blue people in here that might change.

The Last Itty Bitty Bity
Wandering through the numerous halls,
In vain the Magister, she searches,
The robes she wears swish silently,
The seconds pass, the anxiety, it surges.
A hidden turmoil flows through,
It floods every cell and vein,
There is no expulsion; repression,
Her smile, it masks the pain.
A bright flutter dances closer,
The pixie passes, her golden dust adrift,
It lightly coats the lady Magister,
She shivers at the unwanted gift.
A vibrant cheer is quick to exude,
Tis but a farce; a magical falsity,
A laugh emerges, a feisty giggle,
Inside, she shuns the contrived positivity.
The Magister, she now dances,
Skipping merrily through candlelit halls,
A pirouette, a twirl, an embellished swirl,
She's now oblivious to the silent calls.

The New Itty Bitty Bit
Where am I?

Kaelci blinked owlishly and tried to regain her senses. Her head felt so dizzy, and her vision spun circles before her eyes as garbled memories fought for their place in the foremost of her mind.

She slowly lowered her face into her hands and took five shuddering breaths, each deeper than the last, relieved as she felt her racing mind begin to calm, and as she performed her last exhale one memory triumphantly burst into being and she knew what had happened!

Those damned pixies! I bet it was the pink one.

Angrily, she leapt up from the damp rock she had been seated upon. She had been on an important quest, she had been searching for her missing Darien, how dare those pixies interfere! As her feet found their footing she was surprised, and annoyed, to find herself out in the thick forests and miles away from the Shed. Cursing the pixies beneath her breath, she gathered up the hem of her robes and began the trek back to her home, wondering just how long she had been out in the wilderness.

That pixie dust had been potent.

Good morning Shedizens

I'm experiencing my first subzero morning of the year, hooray! But my fingers are icey, and it's slow-typing, and I'm supposed to be getting my son ready for daycare. But what's 10 more minutes? *shifty eyes*.

I just love the sound of a mandolin. We have many musicians in this Shed, so be prepared for random jam sessions.

Everyone is welcome here, all you have to do is show up. Sorry about the cookies...we have counselling if you're traumatized. (Augustus tends to do that to people, and don't even get me started on DBCowboy, sheesh!)

This is a great place to hide out when the real world is cold and cruel...which is, most days.
That's why some of us moved in and have taken up permanent residence.

I hope you like donuts...we tend to eat a lot of them. There are no such things as calories in The Shed.
