Well at least they will be sharply dressed while they work part time making slave wages.

Good intentions (I think?) but terrible uniforms!

Are McDonalds outsourcing jobs to the death star? they remind me of imperial uniforms.

I don't disagree with the change but I prefer a more casual look, I find the customer experience more pleasant when the employees feel comfortable in their garb.

Casual fridays should be everyday, when the local supermarket clerks dress up for Halloween or St Patricks day etc they seem more happy and more willing to assist. If I ran a business my uniforms would be more 'how you doin', can I help?' instead of 'papers please.'

I feel for the women who have an ample bosom as it must be uncomfortable...and i feel for men who have to wear those tight strides...so kudos to the dudes and dudettes that can wear that Imperial outfit and give me a smile instead of a grimace.

I just pictured Darth Vader at the drive-through ordering a happy meal.

I find your lack of fries disturbing.

Morningstar, isn't that Lucifer's title?

Veggie burgers are evil.

They are just trying to dress them up to look like robots so that when every McDumpald's is automated by a robotic staff, the customers won't be as shocked by it. It's just clever and forward thinking.

Smart move Ronnie, smart move...

Do they serve anyone over 30 or do you have to go to "carousel"?

Just what I was thinking!

They look like Sandmen, if you try to leave without buying something ... you're a "Runner"!

I like the look, it's more polished than the current one is. I really don't see what the hoopla is about, it's pretty faux outrage to me.

Eh, even as a carnivore (albeit a lazy one) I have to admit I love me a Morningstar or Boca burger. They're both pretty flippin' good. They're good enough where I've used the crumbles variety from both brands in place of actual beef for taco nights, and nobody noticed the difference. That's saying something to the product's quality of taste & texture there.

BTW, the devil's name is "Tofurkey". Now that is some straight-up nasty, gross fake food.

I suppose I need to go try one to see how it is now.
Kind of looks like a grain patty.

I think the bigger question is... why are people still even eating at Mcdonalds?

She looks like a renegade band leader from a local high school marching band.
(Wait, that's not fair to school band uniforms. She just looks tacky.)

I have no issue with the new uniforms at McD's. Looks like your standard bistro outfit to me. If I do hit up McD's for fries, it's through the window anyway. I haven't been inside that place in years.

If they make the McDonald's decor all black it'll make the uniforms stand out and look more colorful.

Also, I hear that hamburger rations have been raised to twenty grams per week.
