Disorders are harmful to the self. Being gay is definitely not.
So voluntarily taking one's self out of the gene pool is not harmful?
No one is denying feelings, obviously, having a disorder does not mean you can't have feelings relative to that disorder! Nothing to do with feelings!! Red herring!

hey, serious question for all of you ranting about clinical disorders and the "purpose" of humanity being to procreate:
any of you ever been in love?
was it a coherent, logical experience that followed precise and scientifically explainable steps for the sole purpose of reproduction
or
did it blindside you, a rush of blood to the head, an irresistable emotional and physical need?
i think a LOT of people in this thread are forgetting that others - straight AND gay - have just as much agency as you and feel things just as deeply. They may not feel the same things for the same people but why does that matter? Can you not trust people when they say their feelings are true, and let them get on with their own entirely consensual and private business?
That doesn't mean that they are mentally well and don't have a disorder!

Let's just say it is a disorder. So what?
It does not matter at all. Not everyone follows the Adam and eve Bible Bull#. Why can't people just be happy?
I don't get what is so bad about that.
Let's say it is a sin. Hell for gay people will follow. Again man so what.
How is that your problem?

It's not posing a threat its already destroying the coherence and fabric of society and relationships! Wake up and smell the scent of human misdirection and move away from the natural to the misguided process of human relationships! Our children are being brainwashed because of a disorder into believing all is normal when in fact they are being misguided and potentially damaged by it!

You are not addressing the thread title at all.
The thread title presupposes that somebody knows the answer.
I'd suggest we don't know and shouldn't care.
Everyone has their own Path in life and deserves respect as a human being. Unless and until their behaviour poses a threat to the well-being of society a pers

So the human race is nothing more than inbred hillbillies?
Back on topic. Homosexuality is not a brain disorder and that has already been proven.

Yeah cause that's what I said.
When being gay causes one to hallucinate and hurt or potentially hurt themselves or other people then let's reopen this.
Till then you're a tool
