I think it was krytes in another thread yesterday or the day before saying it was just a small number of Radicals causing problems and I replied that the number of radicals is irrelevant as just one dead is too many and they can do a Jihadi attack out of the blue and today I was sadly proven all too right, 1 man caused 3 deaths (and his if you count it as a loss) SO FAR, just like that..

We cannot protect against this fanatical butchering of people, we really have to start totally anti terrorist activity in a big way, recently arrived people who show support for this should have their British residency removed, as I keep saying, this support isn't underground, its WIDESPREAD at Mosques, universities, colleges (who actually allow the discussion in groups of Islamic support for these people), anywhere this rears its head there must ultra firm action and a total crackdown of Radical support.

3 people so far died today for no reason at all except for to be the there at the wrong time and wrong place by a madman who didn't care he was going to die. Totally innocent people, my heart goes out to them and the families and loved ones, but you know what hurts more, its the fact we know where its going on, we have left wing pathetic people who try and make it seem its our fault they attack us and these politicians and Police forces turn a blind eye for the apparent 'cultural cohesion'.

Show me the cultural cohesion today, we know where Radical Islam is, lets to use one of their phrases 'cut its ugly head off'.

By doing little we make it seem that they have the ability to do this at any time and now they are, the attacks are coming quicker and quicker, its now time to act. Shut down mosques, remove individuals, yes it will drive it underground but its now standing on the street next to us so making it harder for them is the way. Lets stand up for the rights of innocent people rather than protecting CULT members.

Totally livid and horrified...

Paul..

Channel 4 news reckon they spoke to the alleged guy's brother who said he's still in prison.
The plot thickens.

Yeah, either a simple mistaken identity or some fool let him out on day release or with a tag.

All likely explanations.
I'm just airing thoughts how strange it is to see MSN name a guy and then backtrack with information that they have spoken to his brother who believes he is still in prison.
This has my suspicious ATS mind musing all possibilities.

Attacker widely being reported as Abu Izadeen. There will be a lot of questions if true.....this piece of work has be spouting his hate over here for quite a while.

Then again, quite surprised as it's people like him who like do do the radicalizing, not actualy getting their hands dirty.

CX.

Today's tradegy is appalling. RIP those taken and hoping for a quick recovery for those injured and affected.

20,000ft view. And this is optimistic in my opinion if CX's info is accurate.

The radicalizing of Islam is NOT working if the ones radicalizing the religion are starting to resort to carrying out these heinous acts themselves. Appropriately, cutting their own heads off of this snake.

People are waking up. Of all religions. We are more accountable of our own actions than ever before.

Lazy journalism maybe? I did watch twitter blow up with the name and mostly ignore tweets saying he was in jail.

Agreed most likely, but if he is confirmed and the phone call from the brother story dies then my first thoughts are why did he phone Channel4.
I posted it here only so if that happens then the questions can be asked again.

Often relatives will try to deny the involvement of their family...he was so kind, caring etc, couldn't have done it etc but to actually claim he is in jail, is not something you'd make up, and is so easily verified that it would be strange if the relative is lying. but like you say, he may not be aware of his release and is just assuming he's still in jail.

Like I say, shouldn't be too hard to confirm or deny

Been away from the computer for a few hours. Going to read and catch up on this thread.

Something I can't come to terms with is one assailant. The picture we have is of a man lying in the street as one, then another account of someone being taken down at the entrance of Parliament. What's up with that?

Maybe it's been answered. Going to read.

Theresa May's speech or to be precise Theresa May reading a speech on the steps of No 10.

Almost Churchillian in places but a poor speech poorly delivered.

the scary part is extremists are waging a guerilla war against the world they are holding their own people hostage. you could have thousands of peaceful muslim families living amongst you and all it takes is one bad apple to wreak havoc. how do you fight that? throughout history islam has tried to take over and has been successful at holding on to parts of its conquests and being driven out of others like europe. at this point it seems they have once again gained a stronghold in europe, will the end goal be what it has always been, to convert and dominate? will europe once again have to drive the invading people out? i hate to look at them as invaders but when you have a segment of the population hell bent on conversion and implementation of sharia throughout the world its hard not to see them as an enemy.

Lol....Good luck trying to read me. It's just as easily could have been a white Brit convert to Islam. It's the dogma, not the skin color. Who funds those hate filled Mosques where these jihadis grow into killers? Follow the money.

See this diagram of sequence of events:

www.bbc.com...

If this is the same fellow, he ran over people, crashed the vehicle on the bridge, then continued on foot to Parliament Hill, where he used a knife on an officer. There were gunshots heard, but I guess those were from the police.

The picture we saw earlier is of an Arabic guy lying near the vehicle on the bridge. So either that's not the terrorist, or there are two.

This may be fudged as a guy with a mental problem it often is .....

A war is coming , it has been ongoing for centuries and longer, It is religious in nature, A religion that masquerades as politics, a force that has taken a different approach to infiltration never seen before.

Ever wonder why every single one of these guys and gals die in the attacks? They truly believe they are doing the work of a God, a higher power. This type of true fanaticism that demands the culling of unbelievers and the subjugation of Woman has Medieval principles and no place in modern society. we should not flood our lands with these principals.

Human history is resplendent with examples of Religious wars, the cause of countless, needless deaths, this time the tactics have changed but the end goal is the same... This can not be allowed in free thinking societies , I want everyone to live side by side with there own beliefs,in peace. As long as those beliefs don't include a Godly compulsion to kill the guy next door....

Whatever happens, I hope we won't dignify it by calling it a "Holy War". I refuse to participate in these delusions. There is nothing "Holy" about it.

Ahem...she needs to check her history...the oldest Parliament is Iceland followed very quickly by the Isle of Man...both around 900. The oldest democracy is probably Greece.

You'd have thought with such a serious incident that she wouldn't have needed a written speech, she could have said it all from the heart.

No where near Churchillian , and yes very poorly delivered
