Temple Of The Dog – Hunger Strike Lyrics
I don't mind stealing bread From the mouth of decadents
But I can't feed on the powerless
When my cup's already over-filled But it's on the table.

The fire's cooking.
And they're farming babies
While the slaves are all working.
Blood is on the table.
The mouths are choking
And I'm going hungry
I'm going hungry [Repeat: x3]

feed while their still here, but pack em up and send them back to their own homeland.

So who do you blame??? Who's getting taken advantage of and more important who's getting rich and fat by taking all that advantage. It's not the workers. If it's not the farmers then who??? Because they are your problem. These people are working their ass off and earning what they make at the very least. But somewhere someone is getting something for doing nothing and we are all having to pay for them.

The law-breakers are to blame first, the employers of those illegals second, the State of California and the Fed's, Big Ag, lobbyists, and any number of other bad actors.

And none of that matters.

The issue is THE LAW. Either we are a nation of laws or we aren't.

No one forced the illegals to break our law and invade our country. They made a choice.

They need to go back.

Out of curiosity why do you blame the people first and the business second. Both are knowingly breaking the law. Yet the businesses are not only getting wealthy from it, but also taking government money, breaking a whole lot of other laws at the same time and lobbying for it as well. The people only get taken advantage of and work for every penny they make.

Good point, businesses are getting very wealthy. Meat packing is a good example.

And?

They need to go back.

I'd say you feel that they need to go back or maybe you need them to go back. Either way, they might not feel the same way about it.

Laughable.

Do you agree that they are breaking the law?

If not then are we no longer bound by laws?

If so where is the holes in the post?

Another interesting point is that it's estimated that 40% of illegal immigrants here aren't sneaking over the boarder but simply don't leave when their visa is up. So that means almost half those illegals are people who we chose to bring here and take jobs that apparently people here can't do and then they stay.

Yet I don't here people in Government who are always expanding increasing the use of that Visa program ever talking about that as an issue. It's always just those "Damned Boarder Crossing Mexicans" that you hear about.

I agree that they are breaking the law.

You are bound by the laws you are willing to follow.

Doesn't really change the opinion that either SBMcG or illegals have on the matter.

I blame everyone who breaks the law.

If you think the laws are wrong, then it's up to you to work to get them changed instead of just ignoring the ones you don't like. That goes for everyone from the very top on down.

But understand that people who are in the system claiming benefits illegally need to have ID to do that. Some are likely using anchor babies to obtain it, but others are likely using stolen IDs. What do you say the people whose IDs have been stolen?

Why aren't they renewing their work visas?

I have to renew all my sheet.

Not necessarily true.

There are some of those people who came here on H1-Bs and were trained by the native workers they then replaced. In those cases, there were Americans doing those jobs, but the companies decided they'd rather replace them with cheaper immigrant labor and abused the H1-B program to do it.

Another significant group also come in on student visas and then stay on.

I'm not trying to sell you my agenda here either. I get what you're saying. I really do. I think we need to be a nation of laws as well. That nobody is above the law either and it's applied equally.

However, as good as that sounds we all know Laws aren't applied equally and there are certainly those who are above it, twist it, jump right over it, abuse it and laugh at it all the time while others take the law up their butt when they're not even guilty.

So I can't jump on board the "The law is the law." whenever it comes up. Because that only applies when our system of laws isn't also a system of abuse and engineered against some but let others free to do whatever evil they choose. Then we don't really have a system of laws We have a system of broken laws and that changes everything. Then it starts coming down to a case by case basis rather than something you can apply in an overall way like that.

The more you excuse, the worse it gets.

Letting it become case by case only adds to the chaos.

I don't know. Maybe they can't. Maybe they just figure they'll stay without it and be fine. I have no idea. I would assume that if they could renew it without a problem then they would do it. So maybe they can't and they'll have to go back and they don't want to. Otherwise your guess is as good as mine.

The reason they are here is to keep the wages artificially low.

The corps are for no immigration reforms it is good for their bottom lines.

Illegal aliens are people.

They have a choice.

Either make themselves legal or get the #### out.

Exactly. Once again we are losing jobs that we could do and were doing and losing them to someone coming here that would do it cheaper.

Which is being done once again for the profit of the corporations bringing them in. We do hear about them from time to time as people get laid off and are pissed. But of course the system keeps that as quiet as possible and go back to blaming the guy working in the dirt for 2 bucks an hour who actually is doing a job nobody else wanted to begin with.

Another example of how we aren't looking at who's really causing some of these problems.

If you have a system of laws which allows wealth to place you above them, or status to allow you to skirt them then you don't have a system of laws anymore. You have a broken system where that motto no longer is true.

Because at that point, "The Law is the Law" is a Lie". What you have is different sets of laws for different people.

Not true.
You (illegals) may not want to be bound by the laws, but now Trump is forcing the issue, and it is pulling undies between cheeks, and the left only likes laws they "approve" of. And people are twisting themselves up trying to rationalize the illegals. They need to come here legally, or not at all.

You are bound by the laws you are willing to follow.

What don't you get about the fact they are being invited here by us. Not all of us, but some of us. Big corps who want to use them and exploit them at the expense of the rest of us.

Why don't you look there to solve your problems instead of those who come here???

If you get rid of the ones here but giant corporations are still inviting more of them in all the time and covering for them and lobbying for it and making bank while putting all the risk on the immigrants do you think it will stop???

Hell you can shut down all Mexico and all you're going to change is from what country all the illegals we come from. Because they are being invited here, told to come here, welcomed here. So of course they're here. But they aren't reaping the rewards from it as much as those who pull them over here to exploit them.
