If you really think extraterrestrial explores visited earth, why do you need disclosure? Why do you need an authority figure to tell you what's up?

Is it because all the alien abduction implants are stolen by the government? You would think ufologists could real time video so all involved could keep an eye on their precious evidence. Right me precious. They wants it for themselves me precious....

Disclosure isn't for those that understand or 'believe'

It's for all the narky 'super skeptic' a-holes, so they finally get to eat some crow.
It takes their 'toys/sticks' away, and removes the pinata the believers have become.. at least that's the running idea...
That said... many of these places wherein we discuss such matters run on the energy of narky a-holes and the beatings they so gladly (predictably) dish out every time someone see's something weird and wants to get to the bottom of it.

This is all just another hype up, to ferret out a new batch of 'believers' so the narkys have something to beat.

And the cycle continues.

by Paul Seaburn, May 22nd, 2017 (…) Due the upcoming election here in the UK and the rules relating to government departments during the pre-election period, the files will not be released until after the election. We are working to ensure that the files are ready for release as soon after this period as is possible: hopefully around the middle of June.

“The files” referred to in that statement from a spokesperson of the National Archives to the German newsletter Grenzwissenschaft-Aktuell.de (GreWi) are eighteen confidential UK government reports on UFO sightings – popularly called “British X-Files” – whose release has been repeatedly delayed since 2014 when it was learned that they were mysteriously not included in the British Ministry of Defence (MoD) release in 2013 of formerly secret UFO files. Why?

The release of the UFO files has been scheduled and rescinded a number of times – most recently in March 2017 – with the general explanation that they contain sensitive information which exempts them from normal British Freedom of Information Act rules. As a result, they’ve been sent back to the MoD for re-examination and redaction. Now the latest scheduled release in June 2017 has been withdrawn, allegedly due to the Brexit election. What do these files have to do with Britain exiting the EU?

No not at all.
Nothing to see there other than what we already know.

I tend to agree with this more than the Grant Cameron thesis, of conditioning people to slowly accept it.
In my eyes all it does is reinforce people's skepticism, boy who cried wolf phenomena etc.

a dont know buddy, they are saying this stuff was delayed because of brexit, and it is going to be after the general election incase it influences the results
"The cache of files is expected to include material relating to a mysterious and unsolved encounter that’s been likened to the Roswell UFO incident in America.

Alien hunters lit up over the weekend after a German paranormal news website called Grenzwissenschaft Aktuell claimed Brexit had caused the delay, which follows a long string of other publication postponements.

Experts then said conspiracy theorists were likely to seize on any delay as evidence the government is dead set on keeping the truth about aliens away from the public."

Standard government bureaucracy crap that happens before every election.
No smoking gun, just a few more documents that might shed a little more light on the already familiar cases we know.

I agree with this. If they were working on a steady progression of acclimation then there would not be the constant "one step forward, two steps back" of releasing contradictory information about events such as Roswell or Rendlesham. Would they still be trying to make fools out of believers at such a late date if they were months away from Disclosure? It does not make sense.

depends on how many different groups know of the "truth" and which of those among them that dont want disclosure, i am guessing very powerful people may have a lot to lose if certain things were exposed, or it could be a psyops, or just another mad money making schemes of certain in-groups, many possibilities.....

The problem then is 70 plus years of muddying the waters with misinformation. They've done irreparable damage, in my opinion. I don't see how they can disciose anything at this point that won't be questioned with suspicion. They've peed in the pool so long it's a toxic swamp.

They can disclose it only by having a face-to-face contact with ET's, and then going forward everyone will have the opportunity to meet and greet them to earth.

The only problem I see is the fact we are such a bunch of chaotic, warring, lying, and back-stabbing race that I would completely understand why ET's wouldn't want to reveal themselves.

Maybe the ET's are advanced enough and could help bring the peace we need, but if that was true, then I'm sure they would have already done it. I believe ET's that are watching currently are not the benevolent/altruistic one's, but rather the opposite, because they stand by and watch the chaos unfold.

yes we must question everything with suspicion. if it is ps-ops, why? whats the end-game? is it going to benefit us? if not, what will we do about it?

It's all about defining humanity into easy to manage little (pre packaged) boxes.

It's all about control.

once you have enough fools screaming your narrative at the rest of the 'believers' you control the narrative.
You only need a few guru's for that... because not many understand nor fathom how this works.

To see it, and speak out against it is to go against the river.

Been quite awhile now without a peep from Delonge.
I'm starting to characterize him more and more into the bozo category.

I even sent him an email saying we are all still waiting to hear his announcement of it being "delayed" further.

Hello - I wasn't sure whether to put this in this thread or the Grant Cameron thread from March (www.abovetopsecret.com...) but as I've just had to sign back up to ATS after losing my old login details I thought it might be bad form to necrobump the latter.

Anyway, I'm just finishing up reading Grant Cameron's latest tome Managing Magic, wherein he covers the DeLonge story. I've read Cameron's previous books and I appreciate that he's generally been on the ETH side of things (with a slant towards the kind of consciousness phenomenology that TheGUT covered in a big old thread a while back) but I was surprised by the credence he seems to lend DeLonge, seemingly based on his having previously been in touch with the same intelligence faces that are apparently 'assisting' DeLonge.

I'm absolutely not intending to slight Cameron, but to me, that would throw up any number of red flags. When the DeLonge story started up I wondered why the old MJ-12 stuff was being taken for a spin again - I've come to think of the story as a multi-purpose intelligence asset that can be wheeled out and modified for any number of uses, and am guessing it originates from the covering work for the Have Blue/XST programme and F-117A deployment back in the late '70s-early '80s. I'd be interested if anyone's got an idea what's prompted this year's model?

Not intending to derail btw - I'm just guessing that the mods would prefer DeLonge speculation in one place...

To me this latest phase of Disclosure seems very different from those of the past. If this really is just another intelligence effort to muddy the waters and hide new technology, then they've actually taken it a bit too far. Seems to me that we have reached what Dan Smith would call the "point of no return" - either this latest wave of Disclosure (involving all the allegedly separate camps of DeLonge, Podesta, Bassett, Greer, Bigelow, Smith/Pandolfi) bears fruit for once or the very idea of Disclosure itself will be completely wrung of any meaning or importance and finally put to rest.

It's kind of put up or shut up time after all these years. It's going to wrap up one way or another, maybe even later this year.
