UFO researcher of the Year, Tom DeLonge; Major announcement within 60 Days!!!

Sounds like this is another wind up, when you see him saying that mainstream media may miss this then you already know its NOT something big and probably will be some self promoting nonsense..

I won't be awaiting this and I'll probably not even know what happened in the first place because of the zero importance and non ripples it creates..

But as a field, UFOlogy is dominated by liars, hucksters, charlatans and criminals. Until that changes, credible research into phenomena very much in need of it will suffer, and humanity along with it.

You could just as well substitute "ritual magic", "psychiatry" or "organized religion" for "Ufology".

But still, Ufology has to be worse somehow. Being obsessed with external apparent phenomena that are not entirely (in every case) 'external' in nature is bound to involve some very crazy, sick or even evil people, not to mention un-people.

When DeLonge said he was meeting with military and government officials back in 2015 and early 2016 no one believed him. Wikileaks confirmed he was meeting with John Podesta and various generals to discuss the ET issue. Regardless of the military's agenda, we can be assured his involvement with the military and briefings have been extensive.

Remember he said with this announcement "..in the civilian world, it's game on". DeLonge has already announced a $100million+ dollar project planned to make a series of Hollywood films regarding this subject - that wasn't the 'announcement' he is teasing. A plethora of other sources have said a partial disclosure relating to Antarctica is due early to mid 2017. DeLonge gave a huge hint a week or so ago, tweeting about Atlantis, and deleted them. It's been about 3-4 weeks since he said the announcement was delayed a few weeks. Now rumors are spreading that Trump may be being pressured with indictment. Now he is leaving on Friday to the 3 epicenters of the major religions. The Pope, for the first time in a while, just said to not fear the truth we encounter out there in space. The Vatican does have a history with the ET issue, but the Pope himself doesn't make comments like that very often.

All I'm saying is that DeLonge is not stupid enough and is not lacking the credentials for all of this to be a wild goose chase with an empty ending. There is a definite plan, and it seems this foreign trip may be the culmination of it all. You don't have to anxiously wait for it, just go about your life and pay attention while maintaining a mild sense of potential excitement.

There are only 2 possible scenarios I can think of:

1) Tom has a credible inside source that has leaked this information to him, but he is intentionally using terribly flaky news stories so that when he is proven right, more people will believe his "bizarre" ufo stories and also start to take alternative news websites more seriously.

2) He is on the road to acquiring a drug induced mental illness.

If I'm not mistaken, its been pretty well verified that he does indeed have legitimate inside sources.

Of course, that doesn't mean the info he is fed is legitimate!

Anywho, does anyone know if the actual announcement has been made? I feel like anything from his tweets to media relations could be "it," but I dunno. I believe he also mentioned something about movies (?). Has anything further been said about that? I'm looking forward to them

The problem with the ufo subject, is everyone gets ridiculed. It was only a matter of time until the same thing happened to tom. It one of the main reasons respected scientist steer well clear of the subject, because believe in ufos could cost them their jobs.

Its quite obvious to me that the ridicule factor was put in place for a reason, and for the most part, has worked.

Does Tom have a huge interest in the subject? of course he does. Does he want the truth? Of course he does. Will he be joining the rest of the people who get nowhere? Most probably.

But the ridicule, no matter what he said or says, was always going to happen.

I figured that's what you were saying, but I appreciate the clarification.

I could have been clearer; look at who some of those contacts are, in regards to Trump.

He has (eta: had?) contact with Podesta. I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear Clinton/MSM/etc. say the same as TDL's tweet, if she hasn't already. Well.. I guess if she said "big sh!t coming," I might be a bit surprised, but you probably get my point.

It is Mainstream now....still remains to be seen whether anything comes of it, Trumps reasons seem fair, unless they have proof it is more than he says. i think TDL deserves kudos..... on this occasion

DeLonge was not referring to Trump's current problems in the least. He was retweeting poorly sourced impeachment rumors related to the ongoing Russia investigation. I doubt he has any inside information into the current White House at all. Let's not give the guy credit for coincidences now.

It remains to be seen whether they have actual evidence,or if there is a sealed indictment! if Trump was just talking about the things he says and it wasn't in secret, then they need to provide proof that he wasn't, or thats treason itself if they are found to be lying in order to have him removed, although i do feel Tom may have been getting a bit excited.....
but thats just Tom it seems!

It's fun to bust on DeLonge (he makes an easy target) but we have to be fair.

So, in the interest of being fair I will mention that when Bill Moore left the UFO field after his famous revelation that he was working for the intelligence agencies to pass on disinformation, he told people he was done with UFOs. Many people assume he was given real information as reward for his spook work and he was somehow satisfied by that. Years later when he was asked what he was into then he said he had been investigating Atlantis.

So maybe Atlantis and ultra-terrestrials were part of the hidden Core Story all along.

What I find interesting is it seems Tom is refusing to use any msm sources in preference for highly questionable news sources.
