It's possible that the CIA (or another agency) hacked the DNC and framed Russia but is it likely?

A professional hacker would plant footprints in trying to hide their footprints . So its extremely likely that the origin of the actual source was purposely hidden or purposely exposed enough for Obfuscation purposes.

Hence the outcome whether it was really Russia or not are equally plausible , from what has been exposed so far. I wouldn't dismiss either scenario as unlikely at this time.

So knowing that the CIA can a hack a system and make it appear it was a foreign government..... are you still convinced that the Russians hacked the election?

I don't believe anyone hacked the election. I believe it's possible Russia may have hacked the DNC, but I have not seen an evidence the CIA was behind it.

Do you have that evidence?

Especially knowing that many in the intel community were highly upset about Hillary's use of an unclassified server to transmit and receive classified information?

So people inside the IC were mad Hillary used a private server, so they hacked the DNC and blamed Russia?

Sure, no proof, yet. But in the leaks, it says they have malware that can disguise itself as another country. So there you go.

Like someone else said the fake russian attack signature for the dnc server makes sense intil you think about it logically. Why fake the dnc russian hack only to have a 3rd party of crowdstrike expose it and ignore the fbi who could of made the story seem more legitimate? However they "fbi and other intelligence agencies" did back crowdstrikes findings. First off the data that was given about the hack was total crap and inconclusive except for the virtual machine converting the code to russian keyboard to make it seem like a russian did it.
Maybe the fbi wasn't used because if somehow it backfired they would get caught in the cross hairs. Also with the tools and arsenal at the cia's disposal you would think geting the fisa would be stupid unless they wanted to frame trump with fake evidence and make it appear they did it legally. Now the real question will be what has this phoney investigation into trumps administration drummed up that has now been killed by wikileaks? Has the cia been using these attacks on the trump admin and is actually the source of the leak in the white house? Sooo many questions

I have posted this on another thread, but perhaps one of the scenarios could have happened.

1. CIA is monitering DNC, RNC, all sorts of political people. Someone in the CIA was upset with what they saw going on in the DNC (maybe a Trump or Bernie fan) and leaked the emails to wikileaks. the CIA then blames Russia for tghe leaks to take the cover off of themselves.

2. Someone in the DNC leaked the info to wikileaks. The CIA found out about this and decided to frame Russia for the leaks claiming they hacked the DNC in an effort to discredit the leaks and Trump.

Neither of those seem that far fetched. Or perhaps the Russians did it exactly as has been reported.

But given what we know about how shady the CIA is, and the fact that we now know they have the tech to frame Russia, at the very least we should not just take the IC word that it was Russia without showing any proof.

I'm sure they have malware that can do all sorts of things.

Just because they can does not mean they did and this is not proof that Russia was not involved in a hacking.
