I warned you of the immense significance of this thread topic!

How so? Will the world stop turning if he can now see.

"immense significance" hardly......

You mean this was actually intended as a serious thing?

Oops, my bad.

I think the incident with paul was that he heard the mic boom from Pauls head hitting it and paul do a micro stutter, being intuitive and blind, he reached out to try and assist paul if needed. Lucked out and caught the mic.

The density of some people is alarming!

We're all the same density, 90% water....unless you're mostly "hot gasses"

And now I have exhausted you, such a seasoned member, here since 2010. Easily triggered.

I didnt smile, its not funny, its just trying to be rude, besides there are degrees to blindness...ridiculous

I guess I have an effed up sense of humor, then. Because I thought the crappy stick figures in the animation were funny.

Come on...the hearing of the visually impaired becomes hyper acute, you may note the ears are very close to the eyes and tend to move towards sound as the eyes do to movement.

I dont even get the point of this thread.

True, when one sense is down the others are heightened. If you want to eavesdrop on a conversation in another room, turn off the lights, you will hear much better in the dark.

Perhaps somebody told him mic is falling

I see no reason for him to fake being blind, he didn't need a " gimmick". He's an incredible talent.

Or maybe he's not completely blind and sees faint outlines?

Has some people's lives really come to this? People examining videos to see if someone who has been blind for his life is in fact blind? I think some people have too much time on their hands, and need to get out a bit more.

Of course Stevie Wonder is blind. It's a fact. The OPs video shows nothing conclusive that would herald a miracle cure for Wonder's condition.

If the microphone was on, the sounds coming from his left would have increased as the microphone fell towards him.

Add to that his years of experience locating microphones by the sounds moving around them and the fact that he can see, and it's easily explainable.

Well.. I would say he definitely didn't hear it... not with the music going on but possibly just instinct he may have felt the Mic moving or his hand was moving in that direction and felt the Mic on his arm?

I have excellent reflexes, an acute understanding of time and space, and I'm legally blind with multiple ocular issues. You could blindfold me and I could do almost everything the same way in my life. I know, I've tested it because I've been warned I might go blind.

If you hold a microphone everyday of your life, which I've also done, then you can "see" it almost the same way someone with vision does. But instead of eyes, it's the "feelers" in your body that provide a tension with the things around you.

Faking blindness for your entire life would be a far more ingenious feat than catching a microphone blindfolded.

I'm always interested in sensory perception, could you tell us more about "feelers" and "tension"?

Have you adapted the nerves in your skin to be like eyes and/or your brain/frontal lobe to use the nerves for navigation? What is the "sight" like? What is tension sight? You're "listening" and "seeing" with your skin or is it only listening and "seeing" is more visual and/or audible?

Thank you for TRYING to bring some laughs to the good people of ATS. I really enjoyed it. Too bad some of us can't lighten up a little! They either didn't read OP AT ALL, or completely lack a sense of humour. Sad...

Anyway, I get what you were trying to do and I appreciated it!
