I think maybe the auditory thump of McCartney's head bumping the mic may have had something to do with it. The only reason I say this is because he didn't catch it with his hand but his arm. If he's blind then he is more sensitive to sound and may have been able to track its movement auditorily and move his hand in the general direction of where he heard the mic falling to.

Either that or he's not blind. Not sure why he would fake it or how he even could since he was basically born that way, but I guess it's possible. Maybe he got some kind of surgery reserved only for those with a lot of money... but I think that is a pretty big step to take in my opinion.

Stevie Wonder can see?!
