Would you please list the "red religious states" as I do not know what your definition of such consists of.

Which of the 13 states that sued are in your list?
Texas, Alabama, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Utah, Georgia, Mississippi, Kentucky, Arizona, Maine.

Utah to Georgia
Texas to Maine

Seems not so south to me.

Guess which states have been bucking the guidelines. Guess which states have been fighting the non-discrimination laws that have been proposed or passed there.

Same states that fought Civil Rights.

A general question:

Everyone's talking about the US, and Christian states specifically.

Yet the Left always wants to import tons of people from Catholic and Islamic countries, for example.

What will Muslims say when they hear there's a biological man in their women's locker-room?

Of course not every glove fits all, but with 57 Islamic countries, we can gauge a pretty good idea.

Except for Turkey, which one of them even allows a lgbti march?

Iran is known to force gay men into sex-change operations, as a kind of last resort to re-establish a "natural" order.
Trans, can be forced on people - it does not always translate to human rights:

It's an astonishing tale about how gay men who are not transgender are compelled to have what would normally be gender-affirmative surgery if they were indeed trans. For many if not all of these men, it's a matter of living as someone they are not for the rest of their lives following surgery — or facing execution.

www.advocate.com...

I'm just wondering, why talk only of Christians?
Many other cultures would kill you.
What's the Western trans community doing to save cisgender gay men and women?
How are you engaging those cultures, or are you just anti-Christian, anti-US bigots misusing the trans community for Leftist social disruption?
How do we know?

Trans people have been around for a long time, but they never caused social disruption.
Why this all now?

How exactly do those 2 relate?

Immigrants are coming here because their home has been blown to bits. Has nothing to do with them being Muslim or Catholic.

The US is supposed to be Secular. No religion should have any bearing on Human Equality.

Why Christian? Because we're talking US politics and Christians are the dominant Political Religion in America.

Here's where all this current "Fear Mongering" started:

Nicole Maines a 5th grader.

Since 2007, when she was an elementary school student, Nicole had been required to use the staff bathroom after a student's grandparent complained to the school. In 2009, the Maines family and the Maine Human Rights Commission sued the school district, arguing that Nicole was facing discrimination and that the school was not properly addressing harassment she received from fellow students. A Superior Court judge initially ruled against the Maines in November 2012, and stated: "In this case, the school acted within the bounds of its authority in prohibiting [the girl] from using the girls’ restroom; it did not itself harass [the girl] by its actions, and it was not deliberately indifferent to the harassment that [she] experienced from others." www.glaad.org...

We are talking about states that have been or are attempting to be taken over by the Christian right. As of this date, we don't have an issue with Muslims living here and taking over the laws of any state. If that happens, I will be fighting that just as hard.

You asked me which of the 13 states were the ones I was referring to. I answered that the majority of those 13 states were the ones I was referring to.

So you're OK with gay people thrown off buildings?
Perhaps if it's a lesser religion?
How many German refugees did the US take while they were at war with Germany?

That's not happening in the U.S. If it does, it's against the law and will be dealt with accordingly.

There are lots and lots of Muslims in the U.S., by the way. And yet, it's still illegal to throw gays off buildings here.

Are you?

Please, tell me how you change a culture and laws on the other side of the world that is not your country.

Are you aware of Mavis Leno? And her fight for women's rights in Afghanistan beginning in the 1990s? I am.

I didn't just jump on the Human Equality train.

America has its own religious war.

Packaged in every way but, still a religious war.

Why is Caitlyn Jenner so upset? She is (now) a woman, who is free to go to the women's bathroom or locker room. Nothing has changed for her. I think I'm missing the crux of this entire Transgender/Bathroom/Locker Room issue.

""CAITLYN JENNER SAYS: "This is a disaster!"

That's how she described the Trump administration's reversal Wednesday of Obama-era guidance directing schools to allow transgender students to use the bathroom that matches their gender identity.

Jenner, a Republican transgender advocate, slammed the move in a video she shared Thursday night across her social media accounts.

Directly addressing the president, she says, "I have a message for President Trump. From, well one Republican to another, this is a disaster and you can still fix it. You made a promise to protect the LGBTQ community. Call me.""

Well firstly you hold them accountable.
Not what I've seen here so far.

Just let's bash the West and white males.
No cross-cultural context whatsoever.
Just misandrist, albophobic racism.

And that's why we gave up on the Left.

Yes, I would say you are missing something.

Bathrooms aside, can you not see why Jenner would speak out on this? I'm mad as hell and speaking out about it too and it doesn't affect me personally in the least. A couple of quotes come to mind that might help you understand:

"Silence in the face of injustice is complicity with the oppressor"
Ginetta Sagan

"If I were to remain silent, I'd be guilty of complicity"
Albert Einstein

Jenner is not the only one. Many are speaking out about this. Parents I know of trans children are freaking out about this. I won't even talk about transgender student's reaction because they're just too scared and sad.

Speaking as someone of past trans experience, this administration's turn of opinion feels like a stab in the back and further encroachment from the conservative Christian right (and I'm using the word Christian loosely). Having progress rolled back seems like oppression and I for one am damn tired of transgender children being used as a political football by politicians that don't have a clue about the lives and challenges they face.

I'm almost mad enough to make a sign.

Those quotes are eloquent and I understand their meaning completely.

What's escaping my understanding is how can such a simple thing be made so complicated..

If a person with a pecker goes into the boys locker room or bathroom, that is correct and proper.

If a person with a puzzy goes into the girls locker room or bathroom, that is correct and proper.

Did President Obama disagree with this? Is President Trump disagreeing with this?
