You keep dropping links and I will never get caught up…I keep getting sidetracked. LOL I found it so “Shedlike” for you to post that pic. I told Paul we have got to get back to church. We have been slacking I am ashamed to say. BUT, I will be sitting in Mass this Sunday! And plan on making it a weekly date again.

So sorry to hear about your rough days.

Wow, what a day we had! I loved Paul’s doctor. He was wonderful sitting down and explaining everything for us. It is just so scary. I cannot survive without him. It is so scary to know that they will have to crack his chest. I am still researching but I think we have decided that the reconstruction is the best option. It will keep his from having to use foreign tissues or be on blood thinners for the rest of his life. They will use the tissues around his heart to build his a new aortic valve.

Good point. Simply rebuilding the thing seems like the most logical of the options.

Good morning Sheddites old and new!

I've been here lurking but also reading up on the surgery that Marty's hubby is going to be having. Seems like they have a really great success rate, and while I didn't watch the videos I did read comments from people whose family members had received that particular procedure, and their comments were positive.

I'd also like to thank crappiekat for handing me a stick...I hang onto it for a while and then pass it on!

Looking after other people gives my life purpose, but geez it can get sad and depressing sometimes. When I come here and read the messages that are written, or the laughing and joking...it helps me feel better, even if I don't say so.
