Hitler filmed his atrocities, there are many examples of people filming themselves speeding, fighting, bullying. They do it because they are stupid and in this case it appears under the influence of something or think they are in the right or filming for posterity.

What it might usually show is a spur of the moment crime that got out of hand, however to be premeditated to take a white disabled boy, even enticing him in by a school mate (no mate) asking him to come round shows it is premeditated and the victim was chosen.

They probably all have a low IQ, they are evil little scrotes who are so insensitive to what hey we're doing filming it didn't matter to them. They believed what they were doing so much they live streamed it.

The neighbor down stairs yelled through the floor for them to keep the noise down, instead of being quiet they ran downstairs and tried to break the neighbors door down.

I guess it never occurred to them that if you have a bound and gagged kidnap victim in your apartment and are torturing them that it`s not a good idea to try to gain forcible entry into your neighbors occupied dwelling.

You must have missed the article about the white football player who raped the black disabled girl. Where was the front page coverage for that?

Point is that not just inner city kids act like or do things like this. In fact these types of things probably happen quite often and span all races and upbringings so I don't see the point in turning this into more than it really is. I actually thought that something very odd would happen soon regarding the new president and him being white. That maybe some very random acts of violence or things like this would happen because these kinds of mental people seem to use anything for an excuse to do such things.

Aggravated Kidnapping
Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon
Aggravated Unlawful Restraint
Residential Burglary

I would like to add my position on this matter.



No Plea Bargaining


There should be no getting a lesser punishment card if you agree to plead guilty to the charges. Cook County prosecutors are certain to get a conviction on all the charges I bolded above. The have video evidence, the probably have medical reports, impact statements from the parents if not the boy himself.



Fullest Penalties Under the Law.


The harshness of the sentences should be handed out to every single one of them. In 1945 to 1946, the Nuremberg Trials dealt with the issue of "Crimes Against Humanity". From Auschwitz Birkenau to Treblinka, we were witness to the horrors that a man or woman can do to another human being. So exactly what does it take to consider an action of a "Crime Against Humanity", One Life, 10 Lives, 100 Lives, 1,000,000 Lives. If we try to quantize into what is an acceptable number, we lose the ability to fully realize and ultimately lessen the evil done to another human being by another.

At Nuremberg, we did not cottle the perptrators of the Holocaust in the German High Command from Adolf Eichmann to Hermann Göring, we did not try to explain away the evil that they did, we did not leisurely hand out mercy to these people, nor should we do so for this four people. They met, falsely befriend, groomed, exploited the trust of an autistic 18 yr old "Special Needs" boy and ultimately tortured for all to see on a Facebook Live stream, the depravity, the callous taunting, and grisly injuries they could inflict on this innocent and defenseless boy all for the sake of a "blood sport", to gain attention and notoriety from online viewers for themselves.


Perseverance


No one is above the law, the Cook County prosecutors will be certainly preparing the case against these four, but there will be some who will believe that these four are being unjustly targeted, due to racial hatered or hysteria, which is the farthest from the truth. Enshrined in your Consitution as well here in Canada in our Charter of Rights, is the ability to have freedom of assembly and the freedom speech. Yes those that support these four will assemble, yes they will protest, but Cook County prosecutors should not allow themselves or their superiors to be intimidated by those supporters voices because of the fear of what may happen.

The trial should not be speedily done for the sake of political expediency or racial harmony or to protect the sensitivities of a collective few. This is not an issue of race, economic inequality, or social opportunities that are available; this is an issue about morality, depravity that can inflicted on an innocent, be what ever color, nationality, religion or sexual preferences the innocent happens to be.

This is about obligation, commitment and compassion to care for and defend and protect the most vulnerable in our communities, in our nations on all from those that would cheapen, and belittle these very lives that we promise to safeguard from the monster's that lurk in the night and wear the skins of everyday human beings.

If we fail to do so, that all the wars we fought, all the sacrifice we have, for all those that have gone before us, that answered the clarion call of justice, freedom and integrity and offered up their lives to ensure we enjoy these freedoms, safety and respect from then, now and into the future will be for naught. The we all can truly say that that there are monster's truly in the night.

Watch what happen exactly? A girl's face filling the screen for 95+% of the video while briefly cutting over to the dude? I'm sure you've seen videos of people dying on the internet and much worse so what else is new? I don't see the media grabbing every video that shows up on liveleak.

It's manufactured outrage, I'm sure most everyone has seen far worse before, the guy was barely even shown throughout the entire 30 minute video. And no, I'm not saying that what happened to him isn't terrible.

Things like this hate crime happen all the time yet the media latched on to THIS one, why? Maybe because it has Trump's name in it, I'm sure it will somehow turn into liberals vs conservatives at some point if hasn't already.

Who is shrugging it off? I just don't think it has anything to do with this case. Chicago and violence there has been getting huge coverage for years. I think it's getting so much attention because of who the victim is, it was on social media and what was said to the victim. It deserves coverage.

I've yet to see anything in the real news and not on some biased hate site or something, that was not accurate reporting. I don't confuse news with commentary which is always vitriolic from both sides.
