I'm not trying to minimize what they did, they're horrible people for doing it and should be thrown in jail but some people calling to 'nuke' them and hang them from a tree? That's freaking ridiculous and we should all know that.

The media is blowing this out of proportion and the people are following like the sheep they are seen as. They're pushing people's buttons for a reason.

And they know that "triggers" a lot of people, that's why they keep doing it blatantly. Look at the outrage, what good can come of it?

OK.

What do you think we're going to do? Riot and burn down our neighborhoods over this? Are we not allowed to express a certain amount of justified outrage at the four animals who did this? Understand, it's not like there is any doubt about it. They livestreamed themselves in action. So we know they're guilty just like everyone knew Dylan Roof was.

Was it not justified to express outrage at Roof's equally animalistic behavior?

Sure it's ok to feel anger, even I felt anger when I read about it but the media will drag this on for weeks at a time and usually the people follow suit.

Something that would warrant such outrage is if the kidnappers were let go free, but they weren't, they're in jail and will soon get what they deserve. Why take it past that?

This one case will turn into weeks of rhetoric on racism in the media and will spread racism through the power of suggestion.

And yes, I still believe they were paid to do this in order to get this reaction from people.

Everyone should be outraged by this. Live-streaming the torture of a mentally disabled person while shouting racist propaganda should never be tolerated in a civilized society.

It should be looked down upon in disgust and openly discussed as what it is.

This is not a race issue...it is about living in a civilized society. Some people feel entitled to do whatever they want with no regard for ethical conduct or integrity. However, since Obama, it has become very clear how much black people hate white people--and as long as extreme liberals like Obama and their media keep fanning the flames of racism, this will only get worse.

Most people already know that this was a bad thing to do and the VAST majority of people would never do anything like this.

There will always be psychos (and people who accept bribes *wink wink*) so what will being outraged do other than cause arguments and division between people who weren't even involved with the incident in the first place?

They are in jail, they will get what they deserve. Don't fall for the media bait.

People are venting online. I dont see anyone rioting in the streets, flipping over cars, looting stores, burning gas stations, or blocking traffic.

Let em vent.

You would maybe have a point if it was three months after it happened. But people are justified in being outraged right after an event happens. To discuss it and express their thoughts.

That's not falling for the medias bait. It is discussing a current event.

Let's see how long this 'venting' lasts, my bet is for as long as the media is reporting on it, if it extends into a few weeks then we know that the media is driving the narrative and taking us wherever they go. The bathroom issue already proved this in my opinion.

Yet people are arguing over it even though they had nothing to do with it. Arguing is not venting, it is just arguing over something that doesn't affect anyone other than those involved. The establishment LOVES when we argue, that means we are distracted and easily manipulated.

I guess all I can say is, lets agree to disagree. It seems like you are the one currently being manipulated into arguing. We all have the right to believe in what we want. Your opinion is no less valid then mine. So I'll just leave it at that.

After all arguing is what they want.

I'm not arguing just trying to let people see what's going on here. The media is manipulating us, the fact that we hang on to their every word (whether we agree or disagree with them) goes to show that they have influence over us.

Sorry Im glad this is being bought out in the public. Or is your main issue with this is that it wasn't a black guy being assaulted and tortured by white people?

I wonder if your protesting would be the same if that were the case? Or would you be screaming about the racist whites and praising the media for shedding light on it.

They weren't BLM sanctioned riots. Any knucklehead can join a legit protest or rally and say crazy things. We see that on the right all the time, but you label them as racists and people freak out.

The official BLM doesn't espouse any of that hateful stuff.

BLM has no leader. There is no one to sanction anything. It's a belief. You sound ignorant.

You and I, and I suspect the majority of us on here, have trust issues. It's part of what makes one a conspiracy theorist.

Hiwever, when you can't believe your own eyes after seeing that video of the fear that is instilled in people, natural fear mind you, you are dillusional or intentionally diluting yourself.

How many times does this kind of thing happen? A lot more than you think and has been happening for a while now all over the world. This is manufactured outrage on the part of the media, just another talking point to keep people angry for weeks on end.

The kidnappers are in jail, the man they kidnapped is alive and will survive. The media is using this to push their narrative and will make people dwell on it and let this outrage fester inside of them for weeks until it turns into hate. This isn't the first time that someone has videotaped a murder or kidnapping, only difference between this video and those others is the fact that the media has latched onto it to push their narrative.

So glad to hear they will be charged with a hate crime. Lock them up and throw away the key.

What on the video am I not believing? I believe this person (who can't talk as far as I know, conveniently) WAS kidnapped and everything on the tape really happened.

What I am questioning is the motive behind the kidnapping and the whacko decision to broadcast it on Facebook.

I guess conspiracies aren't good when they go against preconceived notions.

The story just happened. You are carrying on like this happened 3-4 weeks ago. Why not lets wait and see if this story is still being pushed 3-4 weeks out instead of blindly predicting it will be...

It wont.

Like the George Zimmerman thing, right? They dragged that on for WEEKS, I wouldn't put it past them to do it with this too. Time wil tell though.

It wont.

So who's talking like this happened 3-4 weeks ago again? You seem so sure, are you a time traveler?
