Depends on your dictionary and quality of teacher.

For those of us with real education, they are the same thing. You can look at dictionaries from the 90s and ever early 00s that say the same thing.

As for recent dictionaries, hard to say. Some of them are buying into the hype.

I don't need to. The burden is on those people who claim they have scientific proof that there is such a thing as a man trapped in a woman's body and vice versa*. In the meantime, Occam's Razor is sufficient to say 'delusion'.

Don't even try to bring up brain scans. In addition to being faulty, they have not been applied in a manner that can be replicated.

You need to get scans on:

1) So-called transgenders *before* and after they have undergone any hormone or psychological therapy.
2) Non-dysphoria people who *have* undergone identical hormone or psychological therapy, also before and after.
3) A statistically sufficient sampling size of both populations [1] and [2]

...before you can make any scientific claim.

All we have is post-therapy for [1] and pre-therapy for [2]

So drop the 'scientific' moniker. That sh#t don't shine, but it sure stinks.

What's the point of this?

For people like me with an outdated education I find trans people weird.
Freija Im sure would agree that most people feel the same.
I also think that Scientologists are weird.
And people that do bonsai plants are weird.

You can't attack people to change their minds, it will work but not how you want it to.

The point of this kid is so that other kids can feel a bit less weird.
It's a noble cause, but a heavy responsibility for someone who probably wet their bed recently.

If you're starting with the assumption that I would know the grisly details of that sort of a case you would have to consider me a monster. But you could only make that case if you knew those details also.

There's a lot of people though.
Those statistical non-issues add up.

There's enough of them that it makes sense to get along.
Even if they were a massive threat to society (which they aren't as evidenced by history) there isn't a solution. They pop up all over the place.

We should have far more fear of people over 7 foot. The numbers could be similar (This is a complete guess).
