Much of this tradition has lost forever, because people have forgotten God, have forgotten his 10 Commandments. Maybe your are not Christian, but the last six commandments (the human-to-human interaction) are universal, and the archetypes of THE GOOD in mankind, given by evolution. These last six predate Christianity, Jewish religion, the Torah, Exodus, Moses, and are already mentioned in the 5,000 year old Egyptian Book of the Dead, as old as the oldest pyramids.

There is a conspiracy of atheistic pseudo intellectual democrats against our believe in the 10 Commandments

spread the 10 Commandments, in the city of Philadelphia, founded by wise men, and all the other seven cities

...for the son-of-man sake...
...AMEN...

Can't ya'll just do whatever it is you do behind closed doors in Philadelphia and leave the commonwealth of Virginia (and the rest of us, while you're at it!) out of your cargo-cult thing?

You do realize that the pilgrims weren't the only group to settle in the new world, right?

Further south, folk were barely religious at all. They certainly weren't pilgrim-religious, thank god.

No. Government should Not be ran by religion, it needs to be run by common sense. Please, do not try to inflict your rules on the rest of us. The LAST thing we need is some Bible thumper.

Hasn't religious devotion caused enough deaths in human history?

Right. Bring on the murderous, adulturous, lying thieves who greedily crave everything you have. Correct?

Yeah .Why not get a Christian in ? Know any nowadays that follow the Bible religiously ? I think that is what forgiveness is for. Why not make the next President a Sikh ? At least they are a peaceful lot.
You do know the selfsame Constitution you state GUARANTEES a division between Church and State , right ? There is a reason for that.
Otherwise ,Peace to you

Yes, but it gave some stability too, some order in the chaos

OK we can have a common believe in the 10 Commandments in the population, OK carried by religion, and still have separation between Church and State, as long as our president is a believer, and acts in the spirit of the Pilgrim Fathers and the 10 Commandments

By some quirk of circumstance I just happen to have been reading up on "pro-Western ethnonationalist and traditionalist Christian perspective", in order to understand White Christian Nationalism. Here's a link:

Christianity as a Necessary Foundation for White Nationalism, Part 1: Morality

Introduction

Many today seeking to save the white race from destruction have become quite disenchanted with the modern Christian church, and understandably so. The church has become a vestige of what it once was—siding entirely with antichrists, affirming views on race identical to MTV’s and Hollywood’s. Having witnessed this mass apostasy, it can be very tempting to think that a religion which abets such inordinate racial dispossession is simply false; it can be very tempting to dispense with Christianity altogether. If one is well aware that resistance to Zionism and racial egalitarianism is the unpardonable sin according to the zeitgeist, then the prospect of non-Christian white nationalism, whether of the pagan or the atheist/agnostic variety, appears viable and even necessary.

But this is indeed only an appearance and a temptation. While the Christian church’s opposition to today’s wicked milieu is entirely embarrassing, Christian principles are still fundamental to ultimately overthrow it. The condition of biblical religion has been the direct target of attack in our nation, in which case the rejection of religion would be complicit with the aims of our intruders. It is important to realize just how indispensable the Christian religion is for supporting our race.

One out of eight of my great grandfathers came to the U.S. from a port in the Netherlands. I think that the remaining 7 were born here. Not much of the Pilgrim left in me; gone native perhaps.

Trump's Grandfather was from Germany.

when you believe in love, its because of loneliness, if you believe in peace, its because of war, if you believe in freedom, its because of dictators, and if you believe in God, its because of the Devil

I cheat
I lie
I steal
I murder

And I want what the other guy has, all because the democrats told me too.

It's true! Now I'm off to wake the parents up with some fireworks...

Anyways, what's this about pilgrim fathers/founders?

If they wanted a devout and religious society I'm sure they'd have set one up. Reality is freedom of religion is a freedom including the choice of no religion however heathenistic that may seem.

Is it adultery if all three consent? Because posts like this really make me want to go scrub my pilgrim ways... Get that stink out, know what I mean?

Keep church and state seperate . No interest in going back to the darkages under a theocracy .

Dumocracy is bad enough already without regressing .
