That poor woman in the video, my heart breaks for her. I would rather see that whole village of men exterminated, than to see one more woman treated in such a way.
What I find..... puzzling.
Why is any country that does not offer all its citizens equal rights under the law, including and especially freedom to burn a book..... membership in the UN?
It seems any legitimate "United" group of countries should have at its very core a common set of guiding principles they will adhere to or not be allowed to enjoy the benefits shared among member states.
Human Rights should not be off limits to people who happened to be born in the wrong country. The people with the power to ensure the rights of others, have an obligation not to relocate...... but to defend the rights of the people in their homes.

And in other news..... this happens, sadly, every single day all across the world, sometimes carried out by indigenous people and sometimes by migrants.

Of course, this particular story fits the paradigm of the people who wish to propagate it.

The irony, not lost on us, will probably be dismissed by the father and he'll end up blaming his kind hearted, beautiful daughter...because, you know, WW2 and stuff.

that's the weakness of western prosperity and peace at home, we are forgetting our instincts and the truth of human nature, we think kindness and generosity will be repaid even though people from certain countries have every reason to hate us for our warlike policies which ruined their homelands(not just war but politics and business practices too).

There is a safe middle ground that most walk. It doesn't prevent bad things from happening to good people but it reduces the chances.

This family is definitely better than I am. I know myself better than anyone else, and I live up to the description of a pure Scorpio. We have an uncomely propensity towards vengeance, which I had to battle with when I was much younger. I would not have taken this betrayal as generously.
