Abortion is a really difficult issue. I can't imagine anyone who is pro-choice thinking that a late term abortion where the fetus could survive on its own after the umbilical cord is cut is not somehow a very wrong thing to do.

And then, on the other side, before the first trimester is over, a woman should every right to decide how her body is used. If something is growing in my body I should have the right to have it removed. It's my body. So I totally get the idea of woman's right to choose. If a woman did not have the right to choose, once she became pregnant, should would be a slave owned by the government.

It's very difficult to take away one person's rights for another and claim which way is correct. Abortion is just one of there things where both sides are right. It's a really horrible issue. I'm kind of sick of debating it. There's no way it will ever end.

This is discriminatory, inhuman, and cruel.

But to force a woman to go through a pregnancy is not inhuman and cruel? Women have no right to choose what happens with their own bodies? A fetous that may not even survive the pregnancy is more valuable than a living woman?

So, if we forbid women to choose when they become mothers, then let's make it equal and let's castrate every man that makes a woman pregnant with an unwanted child. Both parties should be equally accountable.

There are many people who do not want to us to return to back alley and wire hanger abortions.

Majority of women who have abortion were not raped and/or did not commit incest.

They just didn't want their baby amd I have to say that's a thin line between first-degree pre-meditated murder

Civil rights are violated when people are deprived of their basic rights in a discriminatory fashion. Unborn children are deprived of life which is the most basic right of all simply based on their location their mother’s womb and their developmental status. This is discriminatory, inhuman, and cruel.

Unborn human beings are living, separate, and unique. From the moment of "fertilization" better known as conception. a new human life is in existence. Ending this life is not ending “potential.” It is ending a life.

You speak of a right to life; if I have a right to life why must I pay to exist in this so called society?
I best you're okay with deporting the unwanted from America - but don't want to deport the unwanted from wombs everywhere; blatant hypocrisy.

Really though body autonomy is pretty important, if one can't choose what to do with their own body, why should you get to keep that healthy kidney?

A source was requested so I provided one. They're meaningless if you can provide evidence that they are meaningless. I highly doubt that rape or incest are high compared to simply not wanting the child.

Nope.
They're meaningless because not all women will admit to being raped even to the police and not many women will admit to incest with anyone, so why you expect a "poll" on the subject to be an accurate reading is beyond me.

You'd think it was an easier choice not to have unprotected sex(or just no sex at all but we know that's not an option for some of our more impulsive brethren) if you're not in a position to raise a child.

The difference is the unborn are perfect like God. Once people are born they bite the apple and become sinners so they deserve to die. Also, they deserve to die because they probably are liberals who vote for Democrats.

Source was requested I provided. Number wouldn't reach beyond 10% I imagine and that is high itself. Why make it so difficult.

The OP has no mention of religion yet all of you anti-life folk are yelling "Quit with your religion".

It is normally the religious that say state these things. There are no anti-life people in this argument.

Just call the pro-lifers what they are, anti-choice.

Why make it so difficult.

To derail the thread, because at the end of the day everyone knows that the overwhelming vast majority of abortions are motivated by the desire to f# without consequences.

You simply can't ignore there is a living woman on the other end of the umbilical cord who also has rights.

If you support the death of what is biologically life then you are indeed anti-life, not that I have anything against those individuals themselves. Nonetheless, no mention of religion.

My opinion is that those rights were suspended the moment the woman chose to have sex.

I've never understood why it's a more attractive proposition for women to have an abortion than to put the child up for adoption.

God is pro-choice because based on human experiments there is no amount of evil God will not tolerate in order to preserve our free-will.

Abortion may be immoral but that is for God to judge. Not BIG government pro-lifers.
