I'm not listening to any email stories. There is so much hype and mis-information - - its hard to separate what's fact and what isn't. Yes, even on fact checking sites.
It's normal behavior for me. Took me 10 years before I watched the Exorcist - - - so I could watch it with a clear head and no hype. Talk about over-rated.
I'm more interested in how history will view it.
Now we have Trump. He will not be squeaky clean. No one is. Will he get the same treatment as Hillary? Probably not, because of what side he's on.
Where have I said I hate Trump? I've said I don't think he's qualified. And I still don't.

This thread is not about Hillary's emails.
It's about the phenom of how some people can command an audience and get people to believe them.

They simply can't accept the topic of the thread. It just doesn't compute.

So, you are preaching against hate and intolerance by being hateful and intolerant? Sounds about right for Anti-Trumpsters.

Trump is a brilliant politician. He's a great confidence man. Since he's from New Jersey, and all people from New Jersey are social liberals, I am fully confident that he will turn out to be further to the left than Hillary Clinton. Picking Jamie Dixon to be treasury secretary is like Hillary won election. He's already pivoted on Obamacare. Here's day 3 flip-flop: "Trump Adviser Takes Aim at Conservatives’ Budgetary Restraint". This is just the beginning.

I don't think I was preaching I thought I was making observations. I never told you what to think anything I posted. If you thought I did it's only because my arguments were too persuasive for you to ignore. \

The main point of my OP was how amazing it is that someone can acquire so much power by making statements eliciting rage from the audience. Rush does it. Fox News does it. Alex Jones does it. Hannity and Beck do it. Getting people enraged is ratings!

Trump won by using classic German style propaganda techniques. He blamed the "immigrants", the "Muslims", the "liberals", the "democrats", "Hillary", "the media" as the cause of all YOUR problems.

Yep and Hilary played the race card and went full retard.

Jesus approves your message.

Believe me.

Your topic is plain wrong.

Hitler was not elected to power, he lost the election, like Hillary. The German people believed they had defeated Hitler in the election, even though the Nazis (like the democrats) were the largest party in the nation. Hitler was installed into power as chancellor, and we still have an electoral college vote to see if Hillary will be installed into power. See how that works?

Like it or not, your thread has no merit. You are attempting to credit the techniques invented by Edward Bernays onto someone else, and trying to associate that certain person to Trump. In online internet discussions, making comparisons of nazis and hitler automatically means you lost the debate, which is the entire basis of this thread.

It's a little early to be crying foul, I would at least wait for the first 100 days of his presidency.

One dark day all these deceived ones will rue the time they supported Trump.

Remember this day…remember this period because it’s the best its going to be under Trump.

To Trump this is just another deal…another swindle…half the American people--that’s a good deal for Trump.

He's laughing at his supporters and grateful for their ignorance

Dark days are ahead folks

Get ready for em.

For you elected Trump at a price

...And that price is the very destruction of the foundation of the nation and maybe the world

Well you can say Trump invoked a father figure archetype and "made his anger your anger" or whatever...OR everyone saw just how bad Clinton was at lying and stealing and murdering people so they said " let's try this guy who isn't a sociopath murderer/money launderer/drug and gun runner...maybe he won't compromise national security and sellout the nation to foreign interests."

That's really it. Nobody likes trump as a candidate, but when you look at Hillary any human with an ounce of common sense is going to vote the other way. God knows what Hillary's masters were to have her do.

Maybe just maybe trump is not beholden to Israel or Saudi Arabia that is my hope. That is what it has come to this day in age. I don't care what he SAYS. I don't care what any politician says...let's see where his allegiance lies and what he does before crying that Hillary the thieving murderer psychopath, who nobody was going to vote for anyway, would be sooooo much better...please, put that on cancel.

And really, what difference, at this point, does it make?

All the people Trump is choosing as close advisors are all beholden to these forces. Trump can no more resist those people than he can resist breathing…

That’s how this corrupt system works...the organized cronyism and influence peddling is so rampant it CAN'T be undone.

And how is it going to be stopped by choosing the same revolving door crony's who did it before while they were in power?

Anybody who believed or believe Trump would actually throw out the corruptors is a dam fool who deserves the wrath that a Trump presidency will bring down on them

I am waiting for his cabinet appointments. This might tell us what he really believes. I believe he is not as rightwing as he has led many to believe. Hillary was the wrong choice for this election. She was a flawed candidate that did not inspire confidence in many ppl.

Initially I was angry with the result but the fact is that he won and we should really respect that. He is our new president and let us at least respect that. I really would like to give him a chance. There are demonstrations going on around the country. They have to realize it was a fair election where the ppl spoke. Please get over it. I am a liberal but have accepted the results.

One thing I would really like him to do to heal the country is to condemn this recent surge in racist incidents across the country.
This would help a lot.
Let's just give him a chance.

Qualities always matter…the qualities of a human heart.

Trump has little qualities of intelligence, compassion, insight and love.

He will exhibit ignorance, selfishness, and greed. It will defeat the American dream and end it in a nightmare

As far as the election is concerned, it would not have mattered who won. If Trump won, there were going to be people who are upset, and complaining and whining about such. If Clinton won, the same would have been true, for there would be those who would be making claims about her.

The reality on both candidates, is that they are not saints, or innocent, both came with baggage that will follow them into the white house. One walks in and is investigated time and time again, the other walks in and still have legal trials to deal with, even before the first day.

The truth of politics, is that all politicians lie, and say things to get votes. And right now we have no way of knowing what a President Trump will do in office.

What I can say, is that this man has no idea on what it is like to be President, no one is really ever prepared for such. And he may find this to be far worse than he could imagine. Think about it would you want to be in a position where you have very little to no privacy at all? Where even things you thought would be private, are now a matter of the state to look at?

Trump took great pains to hide his tax returns, and his medical records, that are now going to be looked at and examined in great detail. He complained about the IRS who is now, for the next 4 years will be auditing his taxes, as per law. Everything that he does and says, will be looked at closely and examined, discussed and talked about. And to make things worse, now those in the comedy business will be making fun of him until the day he leaves office. The media may tear him apart and if he is smart, will simply let it go and deal with it, like water off a ducks back.

If anything, that is an indication, it appears as many of his promises he is not planning on keeping or having to amend already, and ultimately will have to work with some of the very people he turned on or who do not like him. Politics if anything requires compromise.
If anything what the public should be more upset over, was the sheer number of registered voters who did not vote or cast a ballot. That is things like the Bush family not casting a vote for president, that should be more what we should be upset about. It is estimated that 90 million people who are eligible to vote, who are registered to vote, did not even bother going to the polls and casting a ballot. That is where the anger should be.
